“What do you mean that it doesn’t add up?” Cedric’s tone grew even colder and more aloof.

It didn’t add up?

Having been in the business world for so many years, he always wanted definite results.

He disliked answers with uncertainty.

“Hey now, I’m just respecting your wishes. If you want, I can arrange a more definitive examination for

you.

“So, what you’re saying is you’re not sure?”

“Yes.” 

“Then this is pointless!” Cedric said and hung up the phone.

He had no interest in these uncertainties.

“Come back to the country and pick it up yourself. Do I look like I can make a transfer in my current situation?”

“Go back to the country? Don’t think I don’t know what you’ve done to those two. If I go back, Mr. Johnson will definitely take my life!”
