This is a development I had not seen coming, Grace was Luna Gina’s sister and she had been there for me. She was like a second mom to me; I could always count on her when I needed her. 

Why would she do this to me, Uncle James, or Aunt El. She knows what I mean to Maddox, he would never forgive her if anything happened to me and she knew that, so why? 

It all does not make sense, until Emma speaks up. “Whe if she wants him for herself?” 

My squad is talking amongst themselves, and I see that Maddox, Rico and Uncle James are looking at me. “Where is she, Mason?” I ask him. 

“The guards have been looking for her ever since we figured this out, but she is no longer here.” Is his 

response. 

“Excuse me. Sir.” We hear in the background, then an familiar face, I cannot place at the moment, comes in to view. “Dagmar, this is Stephan. He is the one that got this ball rolling.” 

Mason makes the introduction and I ask him why he interrupted. “She left the pack–lands about three hours after you all left. I found footage of her leaving at the south border,” He says and I tell him it was good thing he interrupted us with this information. 

“Can anyone find out where she went?” Maddox asks. Stephan informs him that he will look into it and that he will let us know the second he has answers. 

We end the call with Mason and Stephan, then Maddox gets up and lifts me from my seat, holding me close to him. And as I melt into his arms I hear a grumble coming from my left, I look over my shoulder and start laughing. “Sounds like someone is hungry.” Uncle James chuckles. 

We make our way over to the Pack–house, only to find it empty. No one is there and then I look at the time. It is close to seven p.m. and that usually means dinner will be served shortly. 

Then I hear a sound coming from the kitchen. Samantha, Lily, and Glenn are busy, but it does ΠΟΙ like they are making dinner. So, I clear my throat and that startles them.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you. Where is everyone?” I ask them. Lily tells us that the Alpha’s had. decided to have dinner at Half Moon Pack, and they were left behind to make preparations for the Full- 

Moon. 

When she sees the confusion on my face, she says that the overheard Alpha Adam complain about us butting into the way he ran his Pack. 

I ask Lily if there are any groceries in our house and she shakes her head. “Alpha Adam said it was not necessary, because you would be dining here.” She says quietly. 

Glenn puts a hand in the air, and I look at him. Lily turns to him, and I can tell they are mind–linking, then a smile appears on her face. “Glenn has offered to cook you some dinner, but it will take a bit.” She says. 

I tell Glenn that it will be much appreciated and that we do not mind waiting a bit. I tell them we will be on the porch next to the kitchen and then I turn to get the others.

everyone is eating as if they have not been fed in days. makes me giggle and Maddox gives me at questioning look.

So, I tell him what I was thinking and he nods his head after looking around the tables. When we are finished, we bring the plates to the kitchen and Samantha tells us she will take care of them. 

We tell her goodnight and head back to our temporary home, I sit down on a chair on the front porch and look towards the mountains. Maddox sits down next to me and holds. my hand. 

The rest sit down as well, and we start to discuss training and the fact that there had not been many people. Then we hear voices approaching and Rico stands from his seat 

He walks down the steps and walks to Alpha Adam. “Alpha, if you and the other Alpha’s want to stand a chance against Evil Moon Pack. I suggest you make sure everyone eight years and older show up to training tomorrow morning. 

We will be starting at eight a.m., and I advise you make sure you and the other Alpha’s also show up.” He says in a strict tone, one that tells everyone it is best not to argue.
