Chapter 173 

Izzy’s POV

Nearly four years have passed since I started visiting Pack’s to find my mother and I am close to losing hope. 

So far only a handful of She–wolves remembered seeing or meeting my Father, but that had mostly to do with the fact that he was accompanying Alpha Maddox. But not one of them remembered seeing him with a female. 

There is one more Pack on my list and then it will be over, whether or not I have answers. Not being able to find answers is so frustrating and I don’t understand how it is possible that no one remembers my mother. 

My frustration turns to anger and I am hoping that I will run in to some rogues, just to get rid of my frustration and anger. 

I keep walking in the direction of a small town, when I smell Werewolves. Apparently I am territory of a Pack and I think it is wise to make sure that I do not trespass onto their land.

Suddenly I hear screaming and even though it is coming from Pack–land I do not hesitate. I follow the screams and soon I find a She–wolf trying to protect a few pups from four rogues. 

I make sure they hear me coming and I let Evie take control, so we can get rid of our anger. By the time I take down the last rogue, I notice that other Werewolves have shown up to the scene. 

I raise my hands as I turn towards the Pack–members and that is when I recognize Michael, an Alpha that has visited our Pack a few times. 

“Alpha Michael, I am sorry for trespassing onto your land, but when I heard screaming I just reacted the way I was thought.” I say to the Alpha, 

A She–wolf steps from behind the Alpha and tells me to put down my hands. She thanks me for protecting her Pack–members. 

Finally Alpha Michael has recognized me as well and says: “Izzy, welcome to the Blue Mountain Pack. This is my Mate, Savanah.” Luna Savanah invites me to stay for dinner and I accept the invitation. 

The Luna shows me to a guest–room to clean up, but I tell her I have nothing else left. After I tell her the highlights of my story, she tells me that she will take care of it and that I should go take a shower. 

By the time I am done and walk in to the room with a towel wrapped around me, there are clean clothes on the bed. There are even three sets of clothing and undergarments. 

“Evie, remind me to thank Luna Savanah for her generosity. 

As I walk down the stairs, a Warrior walks out of the kitchen and he tells me to follow him to Alpha Michael’s office. 

Alpha Michael and Luna Savanah are waiting for me in his office and I know that the Luna has told him my story. “Izzy, what do you need to continue your search?” Alpha Michael asks. 

I tell him I am on my way to the last Pack and that I could use a place to stay for the night. That I will be

Chapter 173 

“Yellow Forest Pack. Well It looks like it is your lucky day, young lady. The day after tomorrow I am heading there for a meeting. Why don’t you stay here until then and I will take you there by car.”

I am about to turn his offer down, when Evie says: “Accept the offer. We can use a rest and we won’t lose 

any time at all.” And I know she is right, so I accept the offer and thank Luna Savanah for the clothes she left in the 

room. 

She says it is no trouble at all and if my search continuous that I will need the clothes. 

We talk for a few more minutes and then Alpha Michael tells me dinner is being served. Walking towards the dining room I hear children talking and running around. 

As soon as we enter a woman gets up and pulls me in to a hug, she thanks me for saving her children. Alpha Michael makes the introductions and I find out that the children I saved belong to his Beta and Gamma. 

During dinner I hear how he met his Mate, how his Beta and Gamma found their Mates and I can happy they are. It makes me rethink my decision to take a chosen Mate.

Luna Savanah can tell something is on my mind and she takes me to her own office to talk. When I tell her that I made the decision to take a chosen Mate a long time ago 

and that I even asked someone to be my chosen Mate, he just nods her head. 

Then I tell her that he turned me down, that he didn’t want a Mate. 

But I also tell her that seeing them all tonight makes me long for my true Mate and that I have some thinking to do on this matter, before I settle down with a chosen Mate.
