Someone tries to link me, but I keep my block up. A few minutes later Maggie stands in front of me, her hands on her hips and she looks as if she wants to knock some sense in to me.
“Julian tried to link you, Gamma Elsa discovered that Izzy’s DNA was not at the site where they found her bracelet.” I jump up and I can’t help the smile on my face.
I link Julian and tell him Maggie told me the good news Now all I need, is to see Izzy again, to let her know that I have been an idiot. That I want to be her chosen Mate if the Full Moon shows us we are not
truc Mates.
Stephan’s POV
After I leave the Alpha’s office, I pull out my phone and send Izzy a message to contact me as soon as she can. Before I am able to put it back in to my pocket, it starts buzzing.
“Izzy, where are you?” I ask as I pick up the phone. She asks me what is going on and I tell her what I discovered that morning. I also tell Izzy the plan I made with Alpha Maddox and Luna Dagmar. “What did you say?” She asks and I tell her I had no other choice but to tell them that I knew she was still alive.
“Not that, Dummy. Did you say Luna Dagmar?” And then it dawns on me and I chuckle. I tell her that they found out during the last Full Moon that she is his second chance.
It is quiet at the other end, I hear her breathing so I know she is still there. Then she tells me that she is fine and that she will contact me soon. Before I can say anything else, she disconnects the call.
Last night I met our new Pack–members and I decide to spend some time with Josh. I want to hear his story and show him around the territory.
I find Josh near the Pack–house and ask him if he would like it if I showed him around. To make him familiar with the area.
“I like that. I know I might get lost otherwise.” Is his response. And as we walk away from the Pack–house we start talking about his old Pack.
Maddox’s POV
Dagmar and I are in the living–room with James, Elsa, Samantha and Rico. Ever since Stephan walked in with that picture of Izzy, Elsa has been watching me.
“Okay, you better tell me what you know or this Pack will be without an Alpha soon, Brother.” My Sister says and the look on her face tells me she is not kidding.
Luckily Dagmar is the one that responds and I am happy to hear her explain it, because I would hate to lie to my sister. “Aunt Elsa, it is not our story to tell, but we can tell you that she is still alive.”
My Sister nods her head and I sigh of relief. “I understand, thank you for being honest with me.” She says to Dagmar.
Then we start to discuss our new Pack–members and where to house them. We need to make sure that the newly mated couples get a place of their own.

neone knocks on the arch leading to the living–room, Dagmar gets up and walks towards Sienna. “Come in, Sienna, Have a seat.”“”
After she sits down, Dagmar explains to Elsa why we brought her back with us. “Sienna, I hope that your time here will show you that your parents raised you the wrong way.” I say gently, knowing she is still adjusting to the way we live in our Pack.
Izzy’s POV.
After hearing Stephan, I know it is time to go home. Evie is whining in my head and I feel sad for making my Father and Jordan think that I was dead. I knew I had lost the bracelet somewhere along the way, but to lose it in a hide–out used by Alpha Max was the worst place.
I now know the howl I heard last night was Jordan and my heart breaks thinking about it. Thinking about my Father and what he went through.
I want to jump out of the tree and head home, to let my Father know that I am still alive. But Evie says
“We can’t, at least not yet. We need to find out what she is up to before we take her down.” I nod at her, because I know she is right.
