Of the Ylyanah stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is A Gamma's Revenge (Zalia). The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 470. Let's read the author's A Gamma's Revenge (Zalia) Ylyanah story right here.
Chapter 470
Maleah’s p.o.v.
Okay, this was not what I had expected when we assembled the Pack. Doc is rushing over to Lola, who has lost consciousness and he orders one of the Warriors to carry her to the infirmary. The other Warrior follows behind him, he will make sure she doesn’t get a chance to escape and maybe try to get revenge.
“Alphas, I don’t know what is going on. I will get those answers as fast as I can, but I would like to keep your Mother a day or two for observation. I have too many questions that I need an answer to.” Doc says, before he walks away to follow the Warriors with Lola to the infirmary.
“Okay, why don’t we go to Elyse’s house and grab her a few things. Just to make it a bit easier for her to stay at the infirmary a little longer.” I say to Delaney, I know the rest will head to the infirmary and with a little luck Doc will have answers when Delaney and I get there.
We walk to Elyse’s house in silence, both trying to make sense of what we witnessed at the Pack-house. If I didn’t know any better I would say that she felt the Mate-bond break and maybe fear of losing a Pup, but Max had a true Mate-bond with Elyse. Throwing that disturbing theory right out the window.
Delaney goes up to the maser bedroom to get some clothes for Elsye and I will get her a few personal items to brighten up the room. The first thing I grab is the statue of the three Wolves and I place it in a bag, I also grab the two magazines that are on the coffee table. I look around the room to see a book on a side table and after placing a bookmark in it, I close it to place it in the bag.
“Maleah, you might want to come up here.” I hear Delaney call from upstairs and I place the bag on the couch to go see what that is about.
I walk into the master bedroom, but I don’t see Delaney anywhere. Fortune guides me to a door on my right and I see Delaney staring at a journal she is holding. She turns to me as she holds out the journal and I recognize the handwriting, it is Max’s handwriting.
The first word I recognize is Elyse’s name, but the rest of the sentence isn’t making sense to me at all and I know I need to hand this over to our Alphas. Delaney and I quickly grab a few things from Elyse’s closet and make our way over to the infirmary.
“Mom is still out of it, Doc says it might be a few hours.” Dax says as he wraps his arms around Delaney and I hand the bag to a nurse.
“Why don’t we head back to the Pack-house? Doc can link you when she is awake.” I say and slowly we walk away from Elyse’s room. I am not sure how to bring this new development up, I am not even sure what this journal will tell them. All I know is the sentence I read and it has my mind running in all different directions.
“Have you ever been on the first floor of your parents house?” Delaney asks and I am surprised to hear Dillon say that they never set foot inside it. Max didn’t feel they should visit them there and knowing what we found, I understand why Max didn’t want them to visit.
No one says a word, while we make our way up to the Alpha floor. I am lost in my thoughts as we walk, I am trying to find a way to bring up Max’s journal and I am glad that Levi is holding on to me. Mack walks into the kitchen to make us some coffee and Levi pulls me onto his lap, as we sit down on the couch.
It has been a week since I took Elyse home with me and last night we marked and mated. My Lycan is furious, because he finally found out why Elyse needed our help to escape and it makes me sick to my stomach. There might not be a true Mate-bond between us, but she is my Luna and I will keep her safe.
I look at our Alphas to see them wrapped around Delaney, “I know this isn’t what we were taught, but can you blame your Mother?” I ask and I think I gave them something else to think about. “Your Father’s motives are a different story, but I know what Bradley did to her and your Father’s offer was her way out. There was no other way for her to escape, not with an Omega rank.”
It seems to calm them down a little and Mack gets us all another round of coffee. I am not really looking at the pages as I turn page after page, I am just waiting until I see a word that spikes my interest. “Thank you, Maleah. I think we needed to hear that Mom had no other choice, but I wonder what would have happened if she had met her connection.” Dax says.
They probably made an arrangement of some sort and both would have denied and broken a connection that can lead to a true Mate-bond. It only seems the most logical thing from my point of view, neither one could afford it if the other found a connection.
I just wonder how they were able to fool everyone and why their Lycans agreed to the charade. I will have to ask Dad and Colter, No not allowed to call him that anymore, maybe I should talk to my Mothers in law. My head starts spinning again, I have to much on my mind right now and I can’t seem to answer even one question.
I close my eyes for a second to stop my mind from exploding with all those questions and when I slowly open my eyes I see a word written down that makes me growl, Lola.
