I haven’t felt this type of energy before. Why can’t I see it? I moved into the clearing against my better judgement with Grayson by my side. We can’t afford getting separated as we can’t see the force of our distress. I have no idea how they will react seeing us in their territory. Alec ran towards Amara and tried to pick her off the floor. Apparently he couldn’t see them either but the twins were looking at different direction, at least six to seven feet higher than the ground and they looked scared. So they can see those spirits then. The twin’s sharp intake of breath stopped Grayson and I in our tracks. I can feel unseen eyes on me.
“Alphas I can explain.” Caleb said bowing his head.
“WITCH” A voice shouted making the twin’s knees buckle.
I almost kneeled down as well but settled on bowing my head. Alec whimpered and pulled Amara close to him, looking widely around him for the source of the voice. Carter and Caleb seemed to be unable to speak anymore. Amara on the other hand looked to be on the verge of passing out. We can’t afford that now. She might go into a coma again and I don’t think she will wake up this time. The damage seems to be more than last time. Time to take matters into my own hands.
“Alpha.” I started in clear voice but inside I was trembling. I know that one wrong word will be my death. “We came with Amara.” I knew those spirits were looking at me from the chills I felt. “She needs help. I need to do something before she slips into coma again. Your pre_”
“Again” The spirit spoke in shock and sadness but the voice was different this time.
Two then. I got to get to the point fast.
“Yes. She was out for three days. Please believe me. I came here with her to help her. If she slips into coma now, I don’t think she will wake up again.” From the shocked gasps, I knew everyone was listening. “I need your help in this.”
“If you are lying to us witch, we will kill you painfully.” The stronger voice said in a dangerously low tone.
“I am not lying. I need to help her before it is too late.” I said a little irritated.
“Don’t you use that tone with me witch.” He said maliciously. “I am an Alpha and I will tear you to pieces if you step out of bound.”
To tell you the truth, I am scared shitless.
“So are we agreeing on working together? You got to decide fast so I can work on it.” I said keeping my voice as steady as possible.
Grayson squeezed my hand in reassurance but I knew from his aura, he was as scared as me. Maybe more. Okay don’t laugh now Cassidy. That Alpha will tear your booty apart.
“Fine.” The stronger voice said and with that their forms started to materialize in front of my very eyes.
I gasped in surprise. In simple words, those two are magnificently beautiful. They looked bigger than the average werewolves, a little bigger than the alpha itself. They were shining so brightly that it looked like a golden light is surrounding them. They ooze respect and frankly they deserve it. How have I never came into contact with such beautiful creatures? Well I should stop gawking for now or they might get angry again. I will have plenty of opportunity to do that later.
“I need to check her.” I said pointing at Amara. One of them nodded and the other huffed in response. Oh well! “Well last time, frankly speaking, I didn’t have any idea how to cure her as she is a human but I felt a presence of a spirit around her that healed her a little and she came around.” I said checking Amara’s vitals. Her eyes seemed quite unfocused but she was still wake and whimpering now and then. Caleb had pulled Alec away from Amara and consoling his trembling self. Alec was crying and looking at Amara and the spirts now and them. “So I was thinking… maybe… if… I don’t know how to say this…”
