"I'm at Tower Two," Bella answered softly.

"Alright, I'm coming over to pick you up."

Jack disconnected the call. He had managed to avoid the busiest time when all the students were leaving right after the bell rang. The drive over to Tower Two was smooth.

Most of the students had already left when he arrived at Tower Two. Jack waited for Bella near the staircase. It didn't take long before he saw her descending the stairs slowly.

A distance away, Luna, Gigi, and Remy were strolling toward the canteen. Luna was excitedly telling Gigi and Remy how fiercely Deacon was pursuing her, and how she had firmly rejected his advances. She looked quite proud of herself. Gigi and Remy could only listen enviously.

Deacon was a handsome and talented man after all. It was unthinkable to them that Luna would reject him so haughtily. If they were in Luna's shoes, they would have given in to his advances long ago.

They crossed paths with Jack, who was walking over to meet up with Bella. Luna frowned. "No wonder Bella was lagging behind and didn't want to walk with us. She already made plans with this loser."

After Jack walked off, Gigi suddenly clapped a hand on her forehead and exclaimed, "Oh my god! I left my music appreciation textbook in the classroom. Can you guys follow me to get it?"

The three ladies turned and headed back toward Tower Two once more. They saw a black car parked on the side of the road. Even from afar, they could see the Bentley branding sparkling brightly under the sunlight.

As they got closer, they saw Bella stepping out from the stairwell. Jack took her bag from her with one hand and grabbed her hand with his free one. He pulled her along toward the car, ready to help her into it.

The scene was incomprehensible to Luna, Remy, and Gigi. Unable to help herself, Luna yelled, "Bells!"

Bella and Jack turned around at the same time. Bella waved awkwardly at the three ladies. "Hi, girls."

In her heart, Bella was feeling a little upset. She knew that Jack liked to keep a low profile, which was why she had lagged behind her friends to slip away from them. Who knew that they would still run into each other anyway?

The three ladies couldn't help how their eyes kept straying to the Bentley as they strolled up to Jack and Bella. The surprise was evident in their gaze.

Remy teased, "So this is what you were up to, Bells. You didn't want to leave with us because you wanted to spend quality time with your boyfriend?"

It was completely out of line with her expectations. It was impossible.

Jack only smiled. His voice was calm as he said, "This car and the one you saw at the exhibition—they're one and the same."

"Really?"

Doubt was written all across the ladies' faces.

However, Bella's nodding confirmed the validity of Jack's words. The looks on Luna, Gigi, and Remy's faces turned even more expressive.

Luna tried her best to pretend that she wasn't fazed by the discovery. With false surprise in her voice, she said, "I remember they only sold one Bentley during the exhibition. It can't be the same Bentley as this one, can it? I even heard that some people spotted this Bentley driving around on campus last night.

"I didn't believe them at first, but I guess the rumors were true. But Jack, how did you get your hands on this car? Do you have an extremely wealthy friend? Don't tell me you bought this car yourself, I won't believe you."
