Luca had thought that Jack was just a bookworm buried in a sea of texts, immersed in his computer all day and unable to extricate himself.

Who would have thought that he also possessed such astonishing musical talent? This completely exceeded Luca's expectations.

Luca followed Jack's suggestions for modifications and performed them. He appeared calm, but deep down, he was utterly astonished.

Initially, he thought Jack's advice would only add a finishing touch and enhance the piece's brilliance. However, after playing it, he realized those few words were the masterstrokes that truly brought the music to life.

"Is it that you can't hit the higher notes?" Jack proactively asked when he noticed that Luca had gone off-key while playing.

This time, Luca didn't dare to act arrogantly. Instead, with a respectful expression, he said, "I always have trouble mastering this transition."

"Give it to me," Jack said, reaching for the guitar in Luca's hands.

Luca was startled. He had originally thought that Jack only had insights into the lyrics, but he didn't expect him to play the guitar.

"It was just an interest," Jack replied casually.

Luca immediately felt a wave of bitterness in his heart.

Jack had described his musical accomplishments as "just an interest", while Luca viewed music as his lifelong pursuit.

Luca asked Jack for guidance, "Can you play the whole piece for me? I want to hear your interpretation."
