She was willing to believe in love again for his sake.

As such, her abrupt and impulsive action just now left her a little embarrassed.

After all, she still considered things between them to be opaque.

"Are you perhaps an ingrate, Cordy? My engagement is annulled, all my wealth is gone, and you just left my half-crippled with that bear hug. And you're dumping me just like that?" John demanded, huffing every word while looking dead serious.
