Cordy offered: [Want to see him? He's a little hunk now, and almost my height.]

"Nothing," Dicky replied, quickly shaking his little head. "I saw that your lights were still on, so I came over."

"Why aren't you sleeping? Can't sleep? Or are you not used to this place?"

"No, I'm just…" Dicky was once again hesitant to speak.

"What is it? Can't you tell me?" Cordy asked, regarding him seriously but also teasing him. "Is there a girl you like?"

"No." Dicky's little cheeks flushed, though Cordy already knew that—she just wanted Dicky to relax.

Then, he asked, "Mommy, don't you miss Daddy?"

Cordy had a hunch that was the case.
