Chapter 2008 The Withered Snow Lotus

After Fandor finished speaking, he quickly added, “But if you don't have money, there is another way...”

“What way?” Ryosuke asked, his voice laced with eagerness. He believed that Fandor was the only one who could defeat Kawano, and he was willing to do whatever it took to get Fandor on board with his plan.

“I heard that you have an ancient snow lotus from Fujio Mountain. If you hand it over, I can consider your request,” Fandor said mildly.

Ryosuke was stunned when he heard that because no one knew about his possession of the snow lotus, not even the top brass of the Watanabe family or the shrine. Otherwise, the shrine would have requested it.

How did Fandor find out about such a secret?

Ryosuke was puzzled, but Fandor must have known for certain to mention it.

Fandor laughed heartily when he heard that and uttered with utmost confidence, “Hahaha, don't worry, Kawano is as good as dead.”

Jared and the others then followed Ryosuke to the Watanabe family's mansion. It was the residence of the head of the Watanabe family, so it was in a central location.

Yet, Jared was brought here. If Asuka found out, he would be livid.

He then opened the glass box and poured some wine from a flask at his waist into it.

Flaxseed and Jared were both befuddled, wondering if Fandor was planning to make liquor with the ancient snow lotus.

But something magical then happened. As the snow lotus was soaked in the liquor, it slowly came back to life and became more vibrant in color.

Then, a large amount of spiritual energy began to spread throughout the room, and inhaling it made them feel refreshed and happy.
