The shapeless web was instantly engulfed in scorching flames before it began to shrink in the figure's direction, blocking any path of escape that it might have.

“How dare you injure me, Matthew? I'll make you pay the price a hundred times over! Don't forget this is only my soul remnant. Even if you destroy it, it won't affect me much. However, I will ensure that Luminous Sect will be doomed beyond redemption...” threatened the figure in the face of the fire web, which kept shrinking in size.

On the other hand, Matthew merely snorted coldly. The flames burned even more ferociously.
