Dive into Chapter 3140, a pivotal chapter in A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance), written by Damian Mccarthy. This section features emotional turning points, key character decisions, and the kind of storytelling that defines great Novel fiction.

The elderly man looked at Dalton and Rosetta with a smile on his face, as though he was at kindly grandfather.

Jared could not bring himself to think of the elderly man as a villain as he stared at his smile. Although the man was a demon, he was definitely not one of the bad guys.

The circumstances of one’s birth were beyond their control. Nonetheless, it was within their power to determine the kind of person they aspired to become.

“Rise. I shall now impart to both of you the pure and complete form of the blood demon technique. My hope is that you’ll be able to bring honor to the blood demons. Bear this in mind: While we are demons’ and cannot alter our lineage, it doesn’t grant us the liberty to act recklessly and harm others simply because we’re demons. Otherwise, I shall pursue you even from the afterlife,” the elderly man cautioned Dalton and Rosetta.

“Don’t fret, sir. Despite the world viewing us as enemies, we won’t harm another cultivator without just cause. It’s also what our master instilled in us. I’ll return this Bloodsoul Orb to you. Will it enable you to depart from this place?”

As Dalton said that, he quickly fished out the Bloodsoul Orb, intending to return it to the elderly man.

After all, the Bloodsoul Orb was the elderly man’s elixir field. A cultivator would not be able to cultivate if they did not have their elixir field.

“No need. This is fate. The Bloodsoul Orb will only realize its true potential in your hands. I’ve remained trapped here for millennia. I should have perished, but I was fortunate enough to draw sustenance from the blood pool above, enabling my survival until this moment. Since I can impart the knowledge of the blood demon technique to you both, I shall pass on without regrets. Come closer,” he urged.

The elderly man beckoned at Dalton and Rosetta. The two slowly approached the elderly man. Then, the latter began chanting, which transformed into light that entered Dalton’s and Rosetta’s consciousness fields.

After what felt like an eternity, the elderly man eventually came to a gradual halt. It was evident that he was immensely fatigued, as if he had aged in the blink of an eye. When Dalton and Rosetta opened their eyes, a look of surprise appeared on their faces.

“T-This is the pure blood demon technique? This is so different from what I’ve been cultivating. So what I’ve been cultivating was wrong all along. No wonder I developed bloodlust!”

“Then you must now know why your friend has gone missing,” the elderly man uttered.

Jared nodded. “She must have entered another dimension, and that’s why it feels as though she disappeared from right under our noses. Still, how do we get into another spatial dimension to find her?”

Jared knew that this place was full of powerful soul remnants of immortals and demons who could create spatial dimensions of their own whenever they wanted. However, Jared was stumped about how he could enter someone else’s spatial dimension.

“I’ll give you a drop of soul blood. With it, you can travel between spatial dimensions to find your friend. However, there is a soul remnant, Bone Cliff, on the island. I don’t know how he managed to escape his restraint, but he has fled to the island.”
