“Dario, you old coot. Who are you to just casually call out Mr. Garrido’s first name? You’re disrespecting your superior here! Is it wrong for the sect leader to decide to activate the Divine Flame Mountain?” Winston replied coolly.

“Rubbish! He’s just an acting sect leader, nothing more. Mr. Ortiz is still alive and kicking. He’s not dead yet. Just because Harlan was entrusted with the role of an acting leader, he’s really started to think too highly of himself!” Dario huffed.

“Move out of my way immediately! If not, don’t blame us for using force!” Dario was starting to see red.

“Hah! What damage can you do even if you were to use force? Do you really think you folks have the ability to venture into the Divine Flame Mountain?” Winston sneered.

“Let me tell you, once Mr. Garrido secures the Divine Flame Seal, he will truly become the leader. And when that time comes, none of you will find yourselves in a favorable position. But, if you realize your mistake and pledge your alliance to Mr. Garrido now, I might put in a good word for you once he acquires the Divine Flame Seal.” Winston chuckled heartily.

“Screw you! Stop trying to drive a wedge between us. For your information, Mr. Ortiz has long since recovered. He’s currently resting, and once he’s fully recuperated, you guys will be the first ones he wipes out!”

Concerned that the loyalty of some of the individuals might waver, Dario revealed the news of the former sect leader’s recovery.

When Winston heard the news, his brow instantly furrowed. However, he soon responded with a cold chuckle, “There’s no need to deceive us. Mr. Ortiz was controlled by a demonic soul. Unless the demonic soul is eradicated, it’s impossible for him to recover.”

“How did you come to know that Mr. Ortiz was under the control of a demonic soul, Winston? Could it be that you were the one who got Mr. Ortiz demon-possessed?”

Dario narrowed his eyes slightly as he gave Winston a cold look.

They had always suspected that Harlan was the one who had sabotaged Gael!

However, there had never been any evidence. Now, Winston’s statement might have caught them red-handed!

After all, no one knew the real reason why Gael suddenly went mad!

Since Winston was aware of the situation, it certainly meant they were the ones behind it!

Upon hearing that, Winston became somewhat flustered. Shaking his head, he replied, “Don’t make false accusations. I was merely speculating. If you’re looking for a fight, I’m ready to oblige.”

With that said, a terrifying aura suddenly radiated from Winston’s body!

Upon hearing the news, everyone from Harlan’s faction collectively stepped back. Then, a white light began to flicker, indicating that the arcane array had been activated!

This arcane array was originally intended to protect the formation plate. Unfortunately, it was currently being used to block Jared and his group!

After the arcane array was activated, the members of Gael’s faction suddenly found themselves overwhelmed!

After all, none of them knew how to break the arcane array. If they tried to force their way through, it would take time. By then, Harlan might have already obtained the Divine Flame Seal!

Asking everyone to step back, Juliet whipped out the formation plate!

It was Rohan who had set the arcane array. Since Rohan had passed her the formation plate, Juliet was certain that the formation plate could break the arcane array.

Soon, the runes on the formation plate began to glow. Before they knew it, a fleeting gap slowly appeared in the arcane array before them!
