Summary of Chapter 4009 from A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance)

Chapter 4009 marks a crucial moment in Damian Mccarthy’s Novel novel, A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance). This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.

He began to harbor doubts, suspecting that Jared was not actually a disciple recruited by Dario. Instead, he seemed like an expert brought in from the outside, who then broke through the arcane array and helped Gael eliminate the demonic soul!

The reason why Jared appeared to only have the strength of a Fourth Level Tribulator was undoubtedly to conceal his true power, to prevent others from discovering it!

“D*mn it, I’ve been fooled. Turns out they’ve been conspiring to heal Gael all along.”

Harlan gritted his teeth, feeling as though he’d been duped!

“Anyone capable of breaching numerous arcane arrays and eliminating the demonic soul is no ordinary person. I suspect that even when Divine Flame Mountain is activated this time, you may not necessarily secure Divine Flame Seal.”

“The other side clearly brought in an expert, and with Mr. Ortiz coming out of retirement, do you still think you have a chance at the sect leader position?”

Maurice asked Harlan!

Harlan fell silent. He was well aware that once Gael emerged, his chances would be non- existent, especially considering that the other party had been planning this for a long time!

After a moment of contemplation, Harlan turned to Maurice and asked, “So, what do you propose?”

“Of course, I wanted to collaborate with you, Mr. Garrido.”

“We assist you in removing obstacles, enabling you to obtain Divine Flame Seal and rightfully claim your position as the sect leader.”

“Of course, Mr. Garrido should also allocate a portion of the resources from Divine Flame Mountain, allowing us, Ghost Mask Sect, to reside within Violet Flame Sect!”

Maurice voiced out Ghost Mask Sect terms!

“Let me think…”

Harlan’s brows slightly furrowed!

If he agreed, it would be like putting a fox in the chicken coop. Given enough time, the entire Purple Flame Sect might end up becoming Ghost Mask Sect!

By then, even Divine Flame Mountain had become a resource area for Ghost Mask Sect!

“I can afford to give you time to think over this, Mr. Garrido. However, I’m afraid those from Mr. Gael’s faction won’t give you the same luxury.”

“I believe those people you left behind can’t hold out for long.”

Maurice warned!

Harlan was well aware that his decision to leave some behind to stall Dario was merely a tactic to buy time!

There was nothing to fear once he entered Divine Flame Mountain and obtained Divine Flame Seal!

The ghost mask abruptly enlarged in mid-air, akin to an airship suspended in the sky!

At the same time, Maurice’s face, marred with scars, was revealed!

“You can proceed now, cross over that river of lava. As for Gael’s faction, I’ll handle them.”

Maurice exclaimed!

Upon seeing the situation, Harlan merely nodded, leading his men to leap onto the ghost mask!

Maurice was seen releasing a stream of dark mist. The mist, carrying the ghost mask, moved towards the opposite bank of the lava river!

Maurice watched Harlan and the others depart, and once they reached the other side, a smile started to form on his lips!

How can Ghost Mask Sect possibly submit to another sect? This is just the first step!

Sooner or later, we are destined to replace Violet Flame Sect, and completely take over Divine Flame Mountain!

At that point, Dario and his group had defeated all of those from Harlan’s faction who had stayed back. Even Winston was no match for Dario, and was defeated!

Given that they were both disciples of Violet Flame Sect, they refrained from delivering fatal blows. Although some were injured, none faced life-threatening danger!
