Jared cast a glance, realizing that all these individuals were Seventh or Eighth Level Tribulators. Their strength was certainly not to be underestimated.
“Mr. Lorenzo, why are you seeking out Mr. Chance instead of hunting for treasures up in the mountains?”
At that moment, Felipe stepped forward, addressing the gray-clad alchemist.
“Felipe, Freya, I can’t believe you two siblings are here too. I’d advise you two to mind your own business. We’re only after Jared. It has nothing to do with you siblings,” the alchemist in grey said.
“Are you after the hundred-year offering of the Demon Seal Alliance?” asked Jared.
“Indeed, once you’re out of the picture, we’ll retrieve the hundred-year offering of the Demon Seal Alliance. The resources will be more than enough to sustain our group’s cultivation for a hundred years,” the alchemist exclaimed.
“Hmph, it’s laughable that a group like you could even dream of killing me and seizing the hundred-year offering of the Demon-Sealing Alliance,” Jared said with a face full of disdain.
“You, a Sixth Level Tribulator, dare to boast shamelessly. Don’t think for a second that we can’t handle you.” The alchemist in grey drew out a long sword.
Others also drew their weapons, ready to strike at Jared at any moment.
Upon observing the situation, Sigurd and Viola both assumed their stances.
Felipe and Freya too, stood protectively in front of Jared.
“Are you two siblings courting death as well?” The grey-robed alchemist furrowed his brow and asked.
“Since we’ve chosen to join Mr. Chance, there’s no way we can just sit back and do nothing,” Felipe said.
“All right, then today you both shall meet your end.”
After the alchemist in grey finished speaking, he got ready to attack.
“Stand back, everyone. I can handle a few cultivators in the Tribulation phase all by myself.” Jared instructed everyone, including Viola, to step aside.
A seventh or eighth level tribulator wasn’t considered a threat to Jared.
Upon seeing Jared’s blatant disregard for the cultivators in the tribulation phase, Felipe and Freya couldn’t help but look visibly upset.
Jared was merely a Sixth Level Tribulator, yet he had the audacity to utter such disrespectful words toward cultivators of the tribulator phase.
“Mr. Chance, please be careful not to get splattered with blood…”
After giving Jared a word of caution, Sigurd promptly retreated to the side.
Upon seeing the situation, Viola also retreated.
The abilities of the two of them, even if they wanted to help, wouldn’t make much of a difference. It could even possibly distract Jared.
Suddenly, a surge of fire erupted from Jared, with red flames reaching for the heavens.
Caught off guard, those guys were instantly set ablaze.
“Ah!”
“Fire, there’s a fire!”
“I’m burning up!”
Several guys were engulfed in flames, desperately rolling on the ground, but the fire simply wouldn’t go out.
Viola and Sigurd were not surprised.
However, Felipe and Freya stared at the scene before them, their faces filled with astonishment.
Several seventh and eighth level tribulators, each no less skilled than the siblings. Yet, they couldn’t even touch a single hair on Jared’s head before they were engulfed by a sudden eruption of the internal flame.
Terrifying, it was simply too terrifying…
