Right then, Kai, Viola, and the others were half way up Cauldron Peak.

With Kai in the lead, they continued climbing toward the mountaintop.

On the way, they occasionally encountered some alchemists. Most of them recognized Kai and greeted him.

However, Kai didn't mention anything about Thaddeus' conspiracy.

After all, he had no idea if the alchemists were in league with Thaddeus. Moreover, even if they weren't, there was no guarantee that they would believe him had he told them about it.

At present, he was in a hurry to find Wyatt and Dylan. The only way then was to convince the two men about it before gradually spreading the news.

"I've been looking for you all this time, Mr. Chance. Why are you so slow?" Wyatt called out to Kai as he was heading toward the mountaintop with the others.

"I got held up by some matters, so I was a little late in getting to the mountain, President Chance!"

"No wonder I didn't see you all the way here," Wyatt said.

After saying that, he noticed Felipe and Freya and remarked in curiosity, "I didn't know you two were traveling with Mr. Chance. I even had people looking for you. Cauldron Peak isn't safe. Given your meager capabilities, don't go wandering around!"

"Understood, President Chance!" Felipe and Freya's faces were flushed with embarrassment and shame.

Just moments ago, they claimed to be considered nobodies in Central Alchemist Guild, utterly disregarded as thin air. But right then, not only did Wyatt remember them, but he even specially sent people to look for them, making it clear that he cared for them.

"President Chance, I have something to tell you. Please come with me!"

Kai called Wyatt aside to a secluded spot since the man was accompanied by quite a few alchemists, and he was uncertain if any of them were in cahoots with Thaddeus.
