At Giles Manor, after changing into a new outfit, Jared took a look at his resources and sighed.

Even though he had broken through to Ultimate Realm, there was not much left of the Demon Seal Alliance’s hundred-year offering.

Even a significant portion of Tavon’s celestial crystals had been used up.

So much resources were spent on just one Ultimate Realm. What would I do moving forward?

I wonder if all the resources of Ethereal Realm will be enough for me when it’s time to break through to Immortal Realm.

“It seems I’ll have to hurry up and gather more resources…” Jared mumbled helplessly.

Unable to catch what was said, Claude asked, “Mr. Chance, what did you say?”

“Oh, it’s nothing. Let General Jaime know that I’ll be making a trip outside the city!”

Jared had plans to visit the celestial crystal vein mine. It had been several days. He reckoned there should now be a considerable amount of celestial crystals mined.

“Mr. Chance, as you leave the city, please be very careful not to be discovered by the people from the Buckley family,” Claude cautioned.

“All right!” Jared nodded, then left Giles Manor.

Jared, familiar with the terrain, arrived at the top of the mountain with ease. He gazed at the cliff before him, knowing that all he needed to do was leap down to uncover the entrance to the vein mine.

At that moment, a makeshift structure already stood atop the mountain.

Jared made his way toward the building, assuming that Billy had built it.

“Jared…”

Billy stepped out of the building and happened to see Jared. There was a hint of excitement in his eyes. However, when he noticed that Jared had unexpectedly advanced from Tribulator to Ultimate Realm, he was visibly stunned.

“You’ve actually broken through to Ultimate Realm. That’s truly impressive!” Billy showered Jared with compliments.

“I just made it…” Jared responded with a modest smile. “Mr. Hickman, how’s the mining of the celestial crystals coming along?”

Jared had barely taken two steps when he halted once again, his gaze sweeping over his surroundings.

Billy was taken aback for a moment, then stood beside Jared. His eyes were constantly shifting as if he was contemplating something.

Jared turned to Billy and asked, “Mr. Hickman, while I was away, you didn’t bring anyone else here, did you? And can you assure me that the cultivators you’ve hired to mine the celestial crystals are trustworthy?”

“Yes, the people I’ve found are completely trustworthy, and I haven’t told anyone else about what’s here. Don’t you trust me?” Billy responded, his tone laced with mock anger.

At that moment, Ezio emerged from the cave. Upon seeing Jared, he exclaimed with excitement, “Jared, you’re here! We’ve mined hundreds of celestial crystals these past few days. We’re rich!”

The cautious expression on Jared’s face noticeably softened when he saw Ezio.

“Gordon has been here, hasn’t he?”

“He has, but he mentioned he had some matters to attend to. He left with Elena, but he should be back in a few days. When he left, I even gave them ten celestial crystals, which could be traded for quite a sum of money. After all, they were the ones who discovered this celestial crystal vein mine, so it’s only right that they should have a share in it.”
