A shiver ran through Ezio. He had witnessed Jared’s capabilities firsthand. Killing him would be as effortless as crushing an ant.

However, now that they had the backing of the Buckley family, Ezio was betting that Jared couldn’t possibly stand a chance against them.

“Hmph, don’t get too cocky. We might not be your match, but this arcane array was specifically designed for you!”

After Billy finished speaking, a documentation device suddenly appeared in his hand. Without a moment’s hesitation, he fiercely crushed it into pieces.

The piercing luminescence permeated throughout the entire vein mine, and where Jared stood, he was surrounded by pillars of light that had congealed from the radiance. It was as if he was encircled by a prison of light, completely trapped within.

Upon seeing Jared being surrounded, Billy and Ezio breathed a sigh of relief, then burst into laughter.

“Jared, this arcane array was crafted specifically for you by a senior array master brought in by the Buckley family. I know you have some understanding of array craft, but breaking this arcane array is beyond your capability,” Ezio said with a laugh.

He knew Jared very well, including all his secrets. Now, Jared was trapped within the arcane array and there was simply no way out.

“Indeed, this arcane array has a unique feature. It slowly compresses the space around you, gradually squeezing your body until, ultimately, you’ll be crushed into dust. In that case, you wouldn’t even have a whole corpse left. You might as well surrender gracefully. Mr. Teegan has taken an interest in your magic sword. If you were to offer it to him, there’s a chance he might spare you, if he’s in a good mood!” Billy declared.

Teegan had long expressed his desire for the Dragonslayer Sword in Jared’s possession. As a swordsman, Teegan would undoubtedly covet such a powerful and spiritual weapon.

Jared laughed. “Do you two truly believe this arcane array can trap me?”

Billy scrutinized Jared, his voice full of disbelief as he questioned, “What’s the matter? You think you can escape?”

“It seems you still know too little about me. In Ethereal Realm, there’s yet to be an arcane array that can trap me!”

After Jared finished speaking, a rich aura emanated from him.

Jared smirked. “You are truly naive, thinking that such an arcane array could trap me.”

“Jared, you should stop resisting. Given your relationship with my sister, I can put in a good word for you. It might just save your life!” Ezio said abruptly.

Jared glanced at him, his expression full of disdain. “You think you’re worthy to speak to me?”

Having said that, he gently stomped his foot.
