Ezio exhaled audibly, finally letting go of the fear that had been gnawing at him. Now that Teegan and Riehl had arrived, there was no need to be afraid of Jared anymore.

“How dare you!” Riehl barked, his voice fierce. “You’re just an Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator, and yet you dare speak to me this way? Even the Three Beast Generals bow their heads in my presence! Who do you think you are?”

Riehl’s rage was palpable. As a highly regarded senior array master in Beast City, his status was unmatched. Even the Three Beast Generals sought his favor. No one dared to provoke him, let alone a mere Ultimate Realm Level One cultivator. Jared’s words were nothing short of an affront to his dignity.

Billy and Ezio exchanged satisfied smiles, believing that their threats had finally subdued Jared.
