Jared cast a frosty gaze toward Billy.

At that moment, Jared was already consumed by anger. He had initially placed a great deal of trust in Billy, even thinking of lending him a hand by giving him an opportunity.

“Both of you, get lost!” Jared said to Teegan and Riehl.

The two exchanged a glance. Afterward, Teegan’s eyes narrowed slightly as he said, “Brat, Billy is now an associate of the Buckley family. I won’t allow you to harm him. I don’t care if you’re a foreign official of Jaime or not. If you truly upset me, you won’t be able to bear the consequences. You killed Niel, but we can put that aside. All I ask is for you to surrender that celestial crystal vein mine to me. In return, I’ll allow you and these three individuals to leave unharmed. From then on, we’ll not interfere with one another.”

In truth, Teegan didn’t have much confidence. Ever since Jared had effortlessly escaped from the Devouring Sky Gourd, Teegan had lost all trust in Riehl’s abilities.
