The one calling out to him was none other than Hanes, the overlord of Soulless Hall—someone who had betrayed the Demon Seal Alliance.

Hanes had been following Jared for a while. Jared had arranged for them to stay in Blood Spirit Valley, along with Igor, Montane Daemon, and the others.

After all, in Montane Daemon's domain, the influence of the Demon Seal Alliance was weakest, and the area was full of Demonic Cultivators. It was the perfect place for Soulless Hall to stay hidden from the Demon Seal Alliance's pursuit.

He continued, “Even if we set aside Talcott, the leader of the Demon Seal Alliance, you have to consider the forces backing them. When I was held captive by them, I overheard whispers about the terrifying power supporting them from the shadows.”

Hanes had no idea that the real power behind the Demon Seal Alliance was the Tenth Hall. Given his status, it was likely he didn't even know what the Tenth Hall was.
