Chapter 541 Showdown

Just as he spoke, Fabian clasped his hands together and began blowing into them.

Suddenly, a jarring shrill rang out from his mouth.

It was accompanied by the intense gurgling of the water in the lake. Subsequently, a whirlpool appeared as if there were countless giant creatures within it.

“Mr. Chance, be careful! He is about to summon the poisonous creatures!” Liam warned Jared anxiously.

Looking down at the water, Jared leaped into the air.

Just as he did, countless venomous parasites shot out from the water and swarmed him.

There were so many of them that they managed to block off the sun as they enveloped Jared. There was simply no escape for him.

Soon, the parasites swallowed Jared with their numbers and wrapped him in a cocoon. As a result, he fell into the lake with a splash and quickly disappeared from sight.

Slowly, calm returned to the lake, and the only thing that was left was the occasional bubble that floated to the surface.

Meanwhile, Tristan and the four elders turned pale in shock when they saw what happened.

“Everyone, run!” Liam suddenly cried out as he turned around to flee.

Without Jared, they were no match for Fabian. All that awaited them was death.

Grabbing Megan by the arm, Tristan too began to run.

“Hahaha, I can’t believe how naive all of you are. No one can escape from my grasp!” Fabian burst into laughter. Despite that, he made no move to pursue them, for he already had other plans in place.

When they saw that Fabian wasn’t chasing after them, Tristan and the others heaved a sigh of relief.

However, before they could get far, they heard a slithering sound. The next moment, venomous snakes crawled out from both sides of the valley. One by one, they raised their heads and hissed, blocking the group from escaping.

“Captain Walsh, protect Ms. Simmons!”

After handing Megan over to Shane, Tristan stepped forward to join the battle, knowing that the elders needed all the help they could get.

Given that he was injured, Shane was relegated to protecting Megan. Despite his urge to join in, he was aware that he was too weak in his current condition to do so.

Fabian burst into mocking laughter. “Hahaha, do you think a bunch of pests like you can defeat me?”

“Attack!” Liam roared as he charged forward, brandishing the weapon in his hand.

“Charge!”

“Die!”

The three elders, together with Tristan, surged ahead as well.
