Chapter 841 Team Up

The man in a suit gathered up a ball of black mist in his palm before aiming at Sylvester.

Right then, gusts of wind started to build up over the initially calm pond. In a blink of an eye, a water pillar shot into the sky from the surface of the pond. In the middle of the water pillar, there was a bottomless dark pit. The water around the water pillar then swirled aggressively.

Soon, Ice Dragon revealed itself from within the pit. This time around, the draconic essence was beaming ever so brightly. In fact, it was almost as bright as the sun.

Seeing that, everyone’s eyes were instantly filled with greed. They knew the bright light shining from within Ice Dragon’s head was the draconic essence.

“That’s the draconic essence!” Kenneth and Kristoff exclaimed excitedly when they saw the pearl-like item on Ice Dragon’s head.

Since they had arrived later than everyone else, that was the first time they saw the priceless draconic essence.

Even the badly injured man couldn’t help but watch in awe when he saw the beaming draconic essence. His eyes were filled with greed as well.

While floating in mid-air, Ice Dragon opened its mouth and took a glance at everybody at the scene.

The moment it spotted the man in a suit, it went for him straightaway. Evidently, it was looking for the man who had injured it.

The man in a suit was horrified when he saw Ice Dragon heading his way. I’m not strong enough to fight it now! Besides, the others are all wanting me dead.

Ice Dragon was moving so fast that the injured man had no chance of escaping. He instantly froze and turned into an ice sculpture when Ice Dragon spat a mouthful of black liquid at him.

That scene had sent shivers down everyone’s spines. However, none of them backed down because the temptation of the draconic essence was too hard to resist.

Since they were all there to hunt for magical items, they couldn’t possibly run away when a priceless magical item had appeared before their eyes.

Seeing that Ice Dragon was fighting back, the members of the Shalvis family quickly backed away. The ones that didn’t avoid it in time were sent flying away and injured badly.

Kristoff’s expression turned sullen upon seeing that. He wasn’t going to give up because the draconic essence was too tempting.

“Are you going to just stand by and watch, Kenneth? Neither of us is going to stand a chance if we fight Ice Dragon alone. Why don’t both our families team up? We’ll share the draconic essence afterward.”

Kristoff suggested teaming up with Thunderstorm Sect because he knew none of them would be able to defeat Ice Dragon on their own.

As a matter of fact, Kenneth had a similar thought prior to that. Although we don’t see eye to eye, we have to team up to get a better chance.

“Okay. We shall team up against Ice Dragon and retrieve the draconic essence.” Kenneth nodded.
