"He is awake"

Dana came out of his room announcing good news to us; I felt my legs gave out but Missy hugs me tightly holding me up with Aberdeen rubbing my shoulders.

"He is okay" I cry and Dana nod at me to go inside the room.

Thanking the moon goddess for returning him back to me. I check myself once more before opening up the door to his room, I saw him sitting on the bed with his head on the headboard.

My tears fell instantly I just couldn't believe he is finally here with me. Right when I thought it was too late to save him, here he is right in front of me. I walk towards his bed; he didn't see me not until the door closes behind me.

He averts his gaze and I wipe off my tears trying to smile at him, he remains there motionless.

"Eric" I fiddle my hands before moving towards him "Eric" I couldn't control this distance between us so I rushes towards him hugging him tightly.

"I thought I am going to lose you" I sob out loud holding on to him. Pulling away I put my forehead against his "Eric, I miss you" I kisses him all over his face.

I sat down before him taking his hands in to mine "why did you still go after them? I could have loosened you too," I told him with my hands caressing his cheek "are you done" Eric grab my hand with a disgusting look he removes it from his face.

I guess my emotions has taken over my excitement that I forgot Eric has not been responsive to any of my touch. I watch as he sat there looking at me without any sign of happiness or any emotions to show that he has missed me too but replace with a death glare.

"Eric" I try but he stops me "you are not my mate, so why the hell are you here?" I quickly wipe off my tears "Eric, what do you mean?" Eliz whimpers inside my head, something is definitely not right here.

"You're not the Eric whom I promise to meet again, the one who love me conditionally and has made sure never to repeat his past mistakes" he growls at me.

"You are right; I am not that Eric so please gets out of here as I needed time to myself."

Unbelievable he forgot about me and has loved someone else; got me thinking is she's the one he has been with when he was lost.

Not wasting another minute in his room I bust out of the door slamming it behind me. Everyone look at me as if expecting any good news but I just burst out crying.

Aberdeen came up to me quickly she helps me to walk and we went downstairs in the living room. I kept on hitting on my heart while "he doesn't remember me," I cry out loud.
