Chapter 845 Sage pressed her lips together. She could still feel Jace on her lips. she could feel heat spreading from her face to her neck.

She was as red as a tomato.

Jace noticed her expression and hurriedly walked over to her. “Why is your face so red? Are you getting a fever?” He then placed his hand on his forehead.

With her lips pressed tightly together, Sage remained quiet.

Yoel could not hold back anymore and sighed softly, “I was about to praise you for being smart but here you are, acting all silly again. How is it that you‘re getting a fever after just a kiss?”

Yoel continued yapping, “It‘s obvious that Sage is getting shy.” “Shut up!”

Jace and Sage shouted at Yoel at the same time.

Covering his face with a pillow, Yoel concluded that both of them were equally hot–tempered.

Yoel thought that he should protect his life by staying away from both of them.

Yoel only showed up because he had something to discuss with Sage.

He imported horses from Riverside City and he picked up two horses for Sage‘s parents as a gift.

Sage glanced at him. “You know that there‘s no use in pleasing my parents, right? My parents have no say in Melody‘s business. If this is about Melody‘s marriage, you should talk to Ross instead.”

With bruises all over his face, Yoel still insisted on tagging along with Jace and Sage to Tasty Restaurant.

For a foodie, nothing in the world was more important than having good food. Tasty Restaurant was always crowded during lunch hours and they did not accept reservations, only walk–ins. And they only accept a certain quota of customers. Hence, it was entirely up to fate if one was able to dine in Tasty Restaurant.

As usual, the waiting line outside the restaurant was long. Yoel exclaimed, “Damn, look at the long line. Haven‘t you thought of opening up a branch? Isn‘t it good to have your shop around the country?”

“Not at all.” Sage added, “The food industry is too taxing and tiring. The profit is low too. I only open it for fun anyway. “Hear that?” Yoel glanced at Jace and said, “look at her humble bragging again.”

Jace laughed softly and looked at Sage. “It‘s up to her, isn‘t it? The food industry is indeed too tiring. I just want her to take it easy.”

Sage crinkled her nose gently as she thought that Jace‘s words were nice to hear.
