"You're most welcome. I'm sure you're really busy, so there's no need to buy me a meal. I'll be pretty occupied lately as well, so let's just talk about it again when we meet next time," said Demi.

"I see… Alright. Mrs. Yale said I should get an acting gig for you, and I'm interested in doing that as well. Is there a particular role you would like to get? If I come across something like it, I'll recommend you to the director," said Connor.

"There sure are a lot of people who want to recommend me. Well, I really appreciate it!" Demi said with a chuckle. "Let's go with something more positive. I'm getting tired of being the antagonist. It doesn't matter if it's just a minor role."

"Alright. I understand," he said solemnly.

After the call ended, Demi handed the phone back to Margaret and started reading "Traditional Medicine Index Records" in the yard. Meanwhile, Margaret was making some soles.

When Demi signed the contract for "I Love Nature", she had let Margaret keep the first paycheck. She also forbade Margaret from picking up trash ever again. Since Margaret had nothing else to do, she decided to make some soles for her grandchildren.

Nowadays, people tend to buy soles and not make their own anymore.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Margaret placed the soles down and walked to the door while saying, "Go ahead and continue reading your book. I'll see who it is."

When she opened the door, she saw that it was the William family. That morning, Catherine had called Margaret to say that Josh had woken up.

Margaret's face lit up with joy when she saw Josh. However, the joy she felt was slightly different from the one the William family was feeling.

Not only was Margaret happy because Josh had woken up, but she was also proud of Demi for being successful again. Last but not least, she could finally let out a breath of relief because she didn't bring Demi any trouble at all.

"We're here to visit you, Mrs. Moone. Let's talk inside," Catherine said with a grateful smile.

The William family only visited now because they had gone out to borrow some money. After all, they couldn't afford to fork out the only few thousand bucks they had at home.

"Come on in!" Margaret stepped to the side to let her guests in before walking into the yard as well.

"Have a seat! I'll get you guys some water," Demi said while heading toward the kitchen.

When she came back out again with the drinks, everyone had already grabbed a seat. So, she proceeded to serve their guests the drinks in old-looking cups.

After the second episode ended last week, Demi received her pay for the first episode. So, she was able to buy a lot of things for the house, including new fancy cups. However, Demi was busy curing Josh and didn't have the time to go shopping with Margaret.

Demi was also planning to move to Lynora City for her studies. So, she decided to buy what she wanted after the move. That way, she wouldn't have to bring too many things with her during the moving process.

After expressing their thanks over and over again, Catherine took out a thick envelope and handed it to Margaret.
