Meanwhile, Demi was speechless. After all, how was she going to treat Felix's legs if she couldn't see them? She didn't expect Felix to be that reserved.

"Ahem…" Felix cleared his throat awkwardly before removing his pants. He was even wearing a pair of black shorts underneath that reached his thighs. Clearly, he was prepared for acupuncture.

As Demi took out her needles, Clifford said, "Mr. Harrington, Ms. Demi, I shall excuse myself first. Let me know if you need me. I'll be by the door."

"Alright. Go ahead." Felix nodded. Then, Clifford politely nodded at Demi before leaving.

"Lie down," Demi said to Felix while taking a seat by the bed.

After Felix did as he was told, she started inserting the needles into him.

It was quiet for a moment. Then, he suddenly asked, "How many times do we have to do this before I can start walking?"

"Hmm… If you take the medicine I give you, it'll take roughly three days," she answered.

That wasn't actually true. However, Demi needed to go for training in three days. So, she had to try to complete the treatment by then.

Although she could deal with all the dangers out there, she still needed to take part in the training to show the program crew some respect.

"Three days?" Felix's eyes widened in shock.

"What's wrong? Is it too long?" she asked while inserting another needle.

On the contrary, it was way quicker than he expected. He thought the whole treatment would take at least a few months. Although he looked calm on the surface, his mind was already in a mess.

"For the next three days, we'll need to insert needles into your body every four hours. If you don't mind, you can stay here. If you can't get used to the surroundings here, you can stay in a hotel," she explained.

"I'll just stay here. I'll get someone to send my suitcase over," said Felix.

Demi looked at him in confusion when she heard that. She had always thought he was germaphobic and wouldn't agree to stay at someone else's home, especially one that was as simple as theirs.

Since Felix was staying, he would have to eat there as well. Margaret was a great host, and she was worried that her guests wouldn't enjoy their stay there.

So, after hearing that Felix was staying with them, she immediately went out to buy some ingredients. Then, she prepared a whole table of delicacies with Demi. Margaret even bought some new utensils for Felix.

That night, Margaret took out the new pillows she had just bought and washed that afternoon. "I told the shopkeeper we had a guest and asked them to recommend me the best pillow they had. It cost more than 500 bucks!" she whispered to Demi, sounding heartbroken.

Usually, they would only buy a pillow that cost a few dozen bucks, and they would use it for more than ten years. In fact, the colors on Timothy's bedsheets were fading away after being washed for years.

Actually, Clifford did ask Felix if they should send over some necessities as well because he knew Felix was a germaphobe. Felix also had sleeping disorders and couldn't sleep in a stranger's bed. So, when they stayed in a hotel, they would always bring their own belongings.

However, Felix rejected the idea this time. After all, it would be embarrassing for the hosts if he used his own pillows and bedsheets while staying over. So, when he saw Margaret changing the bedsheets for him, he felt a little touched.

He said, "There's really no need for that, Mrs. Moone."

"It's fine. That's how we should treat our guests!" she said with a smile.

Felix thought he wouldn't be able to sleep that night because of his sleeping disorders. He couldn't even get used to the bed or the pillows too.

However, the moment he lay down, he managed to fall asleep right away. Even his legs didn't act up that night.
