"Are you trying to negotiate with me? Forget it. I'll find someone else instead!" Derek grumbled angrily.

"No! I'll definitely protect her!" Charles hurriedly admitted defeat.

It would be an honor to protect Felix's future wife.

"What do you want? If you don't speak, I'll leave! I'm busy!" Derek replied coldly.

After hesitating for a few seconds, Charles asked, "Dad, since I've been behaving myself for a year, can you get a fighting master to teach me?"

His family had previously allowed him to learn fighting skills from a fighting master. However, since he often got into fights in middle school and even caused another student to be hospitalized, Derek forbade him from learning it.

In fact, he stopped Charles from learning it as a school elective!

So, the initial plans to get a fighting master for him were ruined.

Yet, Derek promised that if he studied properly until his grades improved and stopped thinking about fighting, he would get a fighting master to teach him.

At first, the intended goal was to be among the top 50 students in school. However, after Charles started fighting again, the goal was changed to the top 20, then the top 10.

"Don't you dare think about it! Take care of your foot first!" Derek motioned at Charles' right leg.

After looking at his own leg, Charles said pitifully, "I fractured it from riding a motorcycle. I didn't get into another fight!"

"Racing with others is still considered fighting!" As Derek spoke, he walked out of the room.

"Wait! Don't leave!" Though Charles kept calling for Derek, the latter didn't look back.

Once Derek left, Charles suddenly remembered something important.

He hurriedly took out his phone and sent a message to his friends. "I have urgent news! If anyone spreads rumors about Demi and me, tell them it's fake! Stop them from spreading that news!"

If Felix heard about it, he would beat him up!

His friends replied, "It's hard to guess what you're thinking!"

"Don't bother figuring out what he's thinking!"

"What a fickle man!"

"You're unpredictable."

Charles replied, "Stop being sarcastic and speak nicely!"

Someone asked, "You told us not to bother about those rumors just now, so why did you change your mind?"

"That's right!"

At 5:30 pm, the school bell rang.

Charles packed his things and prepared to leave.

"Charles, your uncle! Your uncle!" Suddenly, his lackey turned around and spoke to him excitedly.

"What?" Charles looked confused and irritated.

"No, I meant your father is looking at you from the back door!" his lackey blabbered.

When he heard that, Charles was perplexed and turned around instinctively. Then, his eyes widened in shock.

When Derek saw his foolish-looking son, he turned to look at Demi, who sat beside Charles.

He thought she looked pretty.

Though she wasn't as pretty as those women who wooed Felix in the past, she had a good temperament.

Besides, she was calm and aloof like Felix!

So, Derek came to the same conclusion as Charles. He was immensely relieved that Felix liked a woman.

In the past, everyone thought that the latter was gay and were worried that he would be alone for the rest of his life.
