By noon, both teams had cooked and sat down to eat.

Herne's team had made fish stew—it was easier to split up that way than grilled fish.

Harold and Thomas shamelessly joined the group for the meal, but they felt off the whole time. Their faces were heating up.

"Hey, what are we playing tonight?" Zane asked with a glint in his eye. "Truth or Dare again?"

"We keep playing that. Aren't the viewers going to get bored?" Nigel asked.

"Exactly! Please continue!"

"This show's Truth or Dare is the best segment in any variety show I've ever seen."

Richard glanced at the streaming chat, saw the surge of excitement, and quickly told the crew, "Let them keep playing Truth or Dare."

One of the staff members passed it on. "Mr. Jameson says the audience loves this segment. You're good to keep going."

"Let's go!" Everyone cheered.

What no one expected was this—just as everyone finished dinner and settled in to play, Ana returned. She didn't come back for fun—she came to watch Thomas and Harold. She wanted to make sure they didn't spill anything.

"Ms. Pitt, you're already back? Shouldn't you still be in the hospital?" a few people asked politely.

Meanwhile, Harold and Thomas were visibly tense.

Harold frowned. "Why'd you check out? Weren't you supposed to stay at least two days?"

"Have you fully recovered?" Thomas asked, worry creasing his brow.

Ana didn't even wait for the standard prompt. "Demi," she said sweetly. "Are you really never going to forgive us?"

Demi didn't speak.

"I choose dare," she said coolly.

"My dare is for you to answer my question. Are you really never going to forgive us?" Ana replied with a sweet smile.

She stared straight at Demi like she already knew she had her trapped.

Demi instantly saw through it.

If Demi said she'd never forgive them, Ana would likely make her swear on it—locking her out of the Pitt family forever and keeping her from ever being a threat.

But Ana had forgotten something. If Demi ever decided to tell the whole truth, it wasn't just her place in the family at risk. Ana's carefully curated image in high society could shatter just as fast.
