Immediately, Demi knew why Thomas was looking for her.

When the latter turned, he saw Demi striding toward him.

Thomas' eyes brightened, and he hurriedly approached her. "Let's talk, Demi."

But Demi ignored him and told Maria, "I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Maria."

Evidently, Demi was referring to Thomas disturbing her sleep.

"It's fine. I was getting up anyway." While she spoke, Maria stretched.

A trace of awkwardness flashed across Thomas' face. Soon, he became angry.

"Can't you stop being so childish, Demi? Do you think you'll solve the problem by avoiding us? It was just a misunderstanding!" Frowning, Thomas chased after her.

However, Demi remained silent and entered the house.

Seeing that, Thomas fell silent as well. Just as he was pondering on whether to chase after her, the livestreaming crew entered the courtyard and started the livestream.

Though Thomas was furious, he could only leave silently.

As she watched Thomas leave, Maria snorted disdainfully and entered the house. "Hmph! He knew that they did terrible things, so he only dares to come when the livestream is switched off."

Once the livestream started, everyone heard Maria's last sentence and was confused.

The comment section was flooded with question marks.

"What's going on?"

"Who did what?"

"Who provoked Maria?"

Meanwhile, when Benedict entered Demi's livestream, he was very happy to see her.

"They aren't working yet. They're eating," he said while eating happily.

Sean, who was beside him, looked at Demi's livestream on the phone. He didn't explain to Benedict that this was a part of Demi's job.

After eating breakfast, everyone gathered in the production team's courtyard.

"Everyone, your mission this morning is to crack walnuts! As usual, your mission is to crack 160 pounds of nuts," Matt said cheerfully.

20 minutes later, everyone stood in the field.

The fields were filled with trees, including walnut trees.

"The four fields all have walnut trees." Matt pointed to four fields that were filled with walnut trees. "All of you will draw lots to pick the section that you want to work in."

"I've checked the older trees and realized that they are tall. Besides, they don't have a lot of walnuts in them and are harder to crack open. The younger trees are shorter and have more walnuts. They're easier to crack," Nigel said.

"That's right. Your analysis is spot-on, Mr. Yale," Matt said with a smile.

"We'll have to pick a new tree," Maria piped up eagerly.

"Thank goodness I know how to climb trees," Chad said with a smile. "What about you, Mr. Lenon?"

"I know how to climb trees too," George said.

"Ms. Dane, Ms. Demi, we'll win this time." Chad smiled smugly at Maria and Demi. He looked very cute when he grinned.

This was a friendly challenge.

He didn't believe that the quiet and demure Demi would be able to climb trees.
