"I'll go check around," Demi said, standing up and signaling to the crew as she prepared to leave.

She intended to pick some herbs nearby.

"We'll come with you," Caitlin said, and the rest of the group quickly got up, following Demi.

George froze for a second, clearly unconvinced. "How do you know? We haven't even fought yet!"

"Demi never brags. If she says you can't win, you definitely can't."

"Your strength doesn't even come close to hers. How could you win?"

"Your speed is slower, too."

The group laughed, teasing George.

George didn't respond, and Herne gave him a playful look.

"I also think he can't beat her."

"This group is so fun!"

"Even though I think he can't win, I still want to see them fight."

"You just want to see George get beaten up, huh?"
