The locked door posed no obstacle for Demi. With a quick sweep of her Divine Sense, she confirmed the hallway was empty. So, she simply appeared outside.

Demi went down the stairs. The ground floor housed a quiet café. Only two people occupied the space—the owner eating behind the counter and a boy sipping milk tea while scrolling through his phone. He must have been the one who locked Demi in.

Erika's group must have rented out both floors, so there were no other people around.

Demi muted her presence. Neither the owner nor the boy noticed as she descended the stairs.

Then, Demi exited the café and leaned against the outer wall. She took out Erika's phone and flipped through the phone gallery. Just as Demi had expected, between countless selfies were photos and videos of Erika's past victims.

Someone was slapped across the face, while another was forced to kneel. One particularly disturbing clip showed a half-naked girl hugging herself in terror while being filmed.

Demi swiftly transferred all the files to her phone. Ten minutes later, she called the police.

"Hello, this is the emergency center."

"Hi, I'm a student at Moran Academy," Demi said, injecting a note of urgency into her voice. "A girl brought some boys to attack me, but they started fighting among themselves instead."

"They got into a fight?" The caller's calm tone suggested she didn't think it was an urgent situation.

"I-I think they were trying to… to… r-r…" Demi feigned terrified hesitation.

An ordinary high school freshman wouldn't remain composed facing potential gang rape—it was best to play the part to avoid trouble.

The caller soothed her, "Don't be afraid. Take your time. What were they attempting?"

"To gang-rape their friend."

"What? Are you certain? Did you see it wrong?" the caller exclaimed.

"I'm not mistaken. Please hurry," Demi replied firmly.

"Understood. Officers are being dispatched immediately. Can you provide more details?" the caller responded.

Demi observed them from behind the police. She didn't seem to pity Erika—instead, her expression was icy.

If Demi had been defenseless, she would have been in that compromising situation.

Demi had shown mercy by calling the cops after just ten minutes. The officers restrained the four men while a female colleague hastily draped clothes over Erika's exposed body.

The four men froze in shock as the police stormed in. Their eyes darted between the officers and Erika.

But that didn't matter now. What mattered was that they'd been caught red-handed by the police—this could mean prison time.
