"Please don't, Mr. West Senior!" Sean quickly rejected Benedict's request to have a barbecue for dinner.

"Come on! I'll just have a couple of meats! I'm craving for it after watching them eat!" Benedict pleaded in a soft voice, which made Sean hard to reject.

"Alright, fine. I'll have the chef grill you something easier to digest. Try to control yourself, okay?" Sean said in concession.

"Okay!" Benedict nodded in satisfaction.

After the barbecue was over, Matt brought the team to a manor midway through the mountain. The manor was somewhat of a resort, which the program crew had rented out for the filming.

At 9:00 pm, everyone met at the lawn to continue the barbecue as supper. The production crew also brought a karaoke machine, so they started singing too.

Amidst the joyous laughter, Demi took out her seventh-grade mathematics textbook and started studying.

"Here." Thomas quietly sat beside Demi before handing her a grilled chicken wing.

Demi glanced at it and said, "Thanks, but I don't want it."

Demi still had the food Chad and George grilled for her in her hands. Plus, she would never take anything from a Pitts even if she had nothing to eat.

"There's something I want to talk to you about after the livestream ends," Thomas whispered.

"We have nothing to discuss," Demi replied coldly.

Thomas furrowed his brows. "Could you stop acting like that, Demi? Do you really have to cut ties with us? You better stop challenging my patience!"

Demi snorted before turning her attention to her study.

The Pitts probably still thought Demi was her past self, who would be frightened, always think about how to get on the Pitts' nice side, and would never get angry regardless of what they did to her.

But, too bad, the Demi from the past was already dead!

"Ouch!" Thomas was about to say something but got interrupted by Ana's low whine by the grill.

Thomas's expression shifted, and he quickly rushed outside. He saw Ana raising her left index finger with teary eyes.

"What happened? Did you burn yourself?" Thomas worriedly held Ana's hand and observed her finger.

When Maria turned around after checking on Ana, she saw Demi staring at her. Demi's eyes seemed to be glistening with tears, along with a hint of hatred, pain, mockery, and loss.

Maria was shocked. But when she was about to observe more closely, Demi had looked away and focused on her book, as if the glimpse was Maria's imagination.

"Did I see Demi crying?"

"Me too! I saw her eyes glisten. It felt like that of suppressed hatred!"

"Why did she cry? There must be some reason behind this."

"It's probably your imagination. Look again right now. Demi looks normal to me."

"But I really saw tears in her eyes! I'll check the replay again later."

"Me too! I must observe it!"

"Count me in!"

The live chat was flooded with netizens asking for the replay.
