"I'm learning to compose and write lyrics now. Could you take a look and give me some guidance once I'm done, Mrs. Yale?" Ana looked at Wendy with hopeful eyes.

"Composing and lyric writing aren't my strong suits, but I can ask some friends who are good at it to help you out." Wendy smiled.

"Thank you, Mrs. Yale!" Ana clasped her hands in glee.

"You're welcome." Wendy's smile never dropped as she spoke.

Ana turned and walked ahead, joy and pride flashing in her eyes.

In truth, she had planned to partner with Wendy and discuss music from the start. Since joining the show, her performance has been lackluster, while Demi kept stealing the spotlight. Ana came up with this idea to stand out.

Demi was merely good at physical labor, which Ana considered a lowly skill. Ana, on the other hand, was a rich young lady and a celebrity in the entertainment industry!

The live stream chat buzzed.

"Wow! Annie is amazing! She can play several instruments and now even write songs!"

"It's befitting of a young lady!"

"Honestly, I feel Annie has been overshadowed on this show."

"Someone's holding her back!"

"Who has time to hold her back? She just lacks the skills and opportunities to shine. Is that others' fault?"

"What do you expect? Should everyone stop doing what they're doing just to make her look good? Why not make the sun revolve around her while we're at it?"

By now, the chat atmosphere had completely shifted compared to the first episode. This was largely due to Demi gaining a fan base. Fans of other cast members who got along with Demi also rallied to support her.

Demi and Maria wandered through the forest for two hours. They returned to the lake once they felt they had gathered enough food.

When they arrived, Nigel was still fishing, while Thomas was building a stove. George and Chad had already brought back two bundles of firewood and were helping Thomas build the stove.

"Let's ask around to see if anyone here knows how to identify them," Wendy suggested. She glanced around and asked loudly, "Does anyone here know how to identify mushrooms?"

"Mrs. Yale, Demi does!" Maria, who was washing vegetables, turned around and pointed at Demi, her face beaming with joy and pride.

Wendy looked at Ana. "Ana, let's have Demi check the mushrooms for us."

Ana was reluctant but still nodded before walking over to Demi. She placed the basket down and took out some vegetables. "Sorry to trouble you, Demi."

Demi turned to the basket and frowned.

Most of the items in the basket were inedible. The mushrooms, in particular, were almost entirely poisonous.

Demi shook the water off her hands, sifted through the mushrooms, and picked out about ten. Then, she waved her hand dismissively. "Throw the rest away."

Ana was already unhappy and immediately flew into a rage upon hearing Demi's words.
