The more she scolded, the more furious Ryder became.

became louder. 

Emmanuel finally arrived at Ryder’s house in his Maserati half an hour later. 

Fortunately, Ryder hadn’t ended the call when he threw his phone earlier, so 

Emmanuel could hear the commotion on the other end and guess what had 

happened. 

He was startled to see blood everywhere when he arrived. 

Emmanuel noticed Tommy was lying on the ground unconscious. He quickly 

took the child in his arms and patted his cheeks. “Tommy! Wake up, Tommy!” 

Fortunately, Tommy had only fainted from crying. The boy soon opened his 

eyes slowly. 

“Uncle Manny! You’re finally here. Please save Daddy! Mommy was trying to 

kill him with a knife! I’m so scared…” he said. 

Tommy buried his face in Emmanuel’s chest and cried his heart out the 

moment he woke up.
