Emmanuel’s fingers were so long and slender. His palm was so warm against 

Claudette’s, and his chest was so firm.-

As for Claudette, she did not want the game to end, as it would have meant 

she no longer had an excuse to enjoy a world with just the two of them. 

She desperately cherished every single second they now had to themselves. 

“I’m starving, Dr. Lowe,” she exclaimed. 

She blinked at him with wide eyes as she patted her flat tummy. 

“Oh, let’s have some food, then.” 

It was only then Emmanuel recalled that this was merely a game, not an 

actual battle. 

Thankfully, the two had food in their bags. 

However, when the man looked into the bag, he found all the food he had 

brought with him had been destroyed and squashed during the game. 

“Oh, well. Do you want some of my milk instead, Dr. Lowe?” 

She smiled after glancing into his bag. 

“Huh? Your… milk?” 

He was stunned upon hearing her words. No matter how dense a man was, it 

was inevitable for his mind to be in the gutter sometimes. 

As a gynecologist, he knew full well that women could never produce milk 

unless they had kids. 

“It’s dairy milk with oats in it. It’s very filling!” 

She pulled out a bottle of milk from her bag and shook it gently in emphasis. 

“You only have one bottle, though. You can have it.” 

In truth, Emmanuel was not that hungry. Back in the days of carrying out his 

missions in the Northern Region, he had even gone through three days 

without food. So, this was merely a child’s play. 

“Here.” 

After taking a gulp from the bottle, Claudette handed it to him. . 

He stared at her. However, he had been in the military before, so he did not 

hesitate for long after noticing how nonchalant she was about sharing the 

bottle of milk. After accepting the bottle, he started drinking it.

women wipe his mouth for him.

grabbed the bottle of milk and took another sip. 

The man did not say anything about it. During his missions, he would 

sometimes share a water bottle with Eve as well. 

Claudette, however, was on cloud nine on the inside. 

It was her first time sharing a drink with a man. Just like Mackenzie, she 

thought it was an indirect kiss. 

Since he did not mind drinking from a bottle she had taken a sip out of and 

vice versa, she wondered if it meant he could accept kissing her. 

Just then, she suddenly heard Laura’s voice in her mind, chanting, “Get him! 

Get him!” 

Claudette pursed her lips and wondered if she should make a move. 

Then again, if she let her chance slip by today, she would probably not have 

another opportunity to do this again. 

Once he fell in love with Mackenzie, she would never stand a chance at
