“Mackenzie has a really strange temper, Mom. I just don’t understand her!” 

Cornered by Alessandra’s pressure, Emmanuel had no choice but to turn 

around and speak. 

“W–What?” She was also in a state of exasperation, not knowing whether to 

cry or laugh. Immediately, she circled back to him, assuming a parental 

posture. “Manny, women’s thoughts are more delicate and complex than

When Emmanuel saw that she had a plan, he became less worried.
