Of the Lia Poole stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 766. Let's read the author's After divorce, Ex-wife Revealed Identities Lia Poole story right here.
He unbuttoned his coat, and the open jacket seemed to let out some of the breath from his chest. Sylvia still hadn't come out, and he was getting impatient. Just then, Sylvia opened the door, but before Franklin could say anything, she turned back inside.
Franklin: "..."
He felt sour. Why did these women always like to occupy his wife's time and energy? He was very unhappy about it and felt ignored.
Winter was so bad to her core. What else did Sylvia have to say to her? Did they have to talk for so long?
Franklin became increasingly restless. He tore off the button on his slender neck, and his restrained cold breath suddenly became wild.
He looked invincibly handsome.
Meanwhile, in the cabin...
Winter knelt down in front of Sylvia with her big belly protruding forward. But Sylvia stopped her: "I don't need a pregnant woman kneeling before me. Get up!"
"Don't try playing innocent with me," Sylvia sneered as she pushed Winter back onto the bed again.
Winter's tears kept flowing out uncontrollably. "Sylvia, please save me! I promise I won't do anything that will harm you. I'm really at my wit's end now; only you can help me."
"My child is about to be born; I don't want to die or go to jail."
Sylvia silently stared at her for a moment before saying: "I don't like doing business at a loss." Winter had better show some real action instead of just talking.
"Don't worry," Winter quickly reached out her hand while speaking earnestly. "I won't let you down. If I betray you, I hope to die!"
"You don't need to say that. Actions speak louder than words," replied Sylvia as she glanced outside through the windowpane.
Outside by now Franklin had almost lost patience waiting outside their door. Winter could talk anyone into believing anything with that silver tongue of hers, having swindled many wealthy women's money before... and now...
After waiting for a few more minutes, the door opened once again. Sylvia emerged, holding a folder in her hand. She glanced at Jasper, her expression unreadable. "Jasper, I need you to do something."
"Miss Andrews, just give the order."
An hour later, they presented the plan for developing this area into a hot spring resort to the village chief. They also discussed the detailed compensation arrangements.
Once everything was done, they left with Winter.
As their car exited the remote village, it smoothly cruised along the highway. Jasper drove, contemplating the task Sylvia had assigned to him.
It was to take Winter away with them.
They had come this time with some of their associates, and Winter was in the car behind them.
Jasper couldn't quite wrap his head around it. Saving Winter by chance was one thing, but now they were taking her away?
"Miss Andrews..." he hesitated before speaking, but Sylvia interrupted him as soon as he opened his mouth. "This is Clark's evidence of guilt. All evidence of how Wilson Entertainment Foundation illegally collected money and some embezzlement cases from Wilson Entertainment's finances are all here."
"Winter brought it out?" Jasper was surprised.
Franklin also didn't expect that Winter would bring out Clark's evidence of guilt. "She agreed to give it?"
"A mother will do anything for her child," Sylvia smiled slyly, "so... she is just trying to survive difficult times like everyone else; she wants to live, I want the evidence - we both get what we want."
"How do you plan on arranging her?" Franklin's voice lacked emotion but was magnetic like a cello that people couldn't resist.
Sylvia looked up at his familiar face bathed in the morning glow of sunset, elegant and noble with lips slightly pursed.
"I think there is a place where she might like," Sylvia said while holding up her phone showing Isabelle's message thread.
"Middle Evroya?" Franklin frowned.
"Mm-hmm."
Sylvia nodded, "Her due date is in half a month; Isabelle is also a mother who can teach her something about childbirth if needed. If Winter turns over a new leaf and reforms herself then it will be better for everyone involved; if not, then don't blame me for being impolite by making her disappear from this world."
"As for her son, raise him well since he's still young."
"You should ask Isabelle to keep an eye on her," Franklin nodded approvingly at Sylvia's arrangement.
Winter was cunning and untrustworthy, so if she didn't cause any trouble, then maybe she could be spared.
If she dares, then don't blame him for eliminating her without hesitation to prevent future trouble!
He absolutely wouldn't let his wife get her hands dirty. If someone had to, it would be him!
In a relatively remote plastic surgery clinic in Urgford, the doctor carefully removed the bandages that had been wrapped around the man's face on the operating table. "Sir, we've followed your requests and the results look quite good."
"Recently these things seem quite strange. His colleagues told the police that this doctor was usually friendly and got along well with people; he didn't offend anyone or anything like that. I don't know who would want to kill him," Isla added.
"This case may not be solved anytime soon," she concluded.
Sylvia listened silently to Isla's words but felt something wasn't quite right.
"A plastic surgeon..." she muttered.
"Cody is still in hospital so this case might end up being handled solely by the police department," Franklin said in a low voice before suggesting they go eat dinner as they had arrived at the restaurant already.
As soon as they entered, Sylvia froze for a moment and looked surprised at everyone present. MI6 was like one big family with many members who usually ate separately from each other. Today however, everyone had gathered together waiting for their return.
They all stood up neatly when they saw them come back together which clearly meant they were waiting for them to eat together.
"Master Franklin!"
"Miss Andrews!"
Franklin did not seem surprised though and gestured for everyone to sit down before thanking them all saying how busy MI6 had been lately followed by some kind words about Christmas coming up soon where he promised he wouldn't let his brothers down.
After speaking some more words of encouragement, everyone began eating their meal.
The next morning, upon waking up, she furrowed her brow, perhaps due to the high humidity in that village. She sniffled and realized, to her surprise, that she had caught a cold.
She rarely fell ill or caught a cold. It was probably due to Love Parasite in her body. Besides causing her to become emotional more often, it also had the side effect of keeping her in excellent health. In fact, her health had improved significantly in recent years.
This sudden cold left her somewhat astonished.
"Why are you just sitting there in a daze?" Franklin emerged from the bathroom, looking at her in confusion.
Sylvia turned her gaze to him, finding him in a black bathrobe, chest partially exposed, revealing a well-defined torso. She raised an eyebrow, wondering why he was looking so tempting this early in the morning.
"I think I caught a cold," she said.
"Want me to grab some medicine later?" Franklin walked over and placed his hand on her forehead. "Doesn't seem like you have a fever."
"Maybe I caught a chill yesterday in the village," Sylvia sighed. "I'll go freshen up first. Then we can head to the hospital."
