Chapter 889

The plane finally landed smoothly in Adawood. The passengers on the plane were already dizzy and disoriented from the turbulence.

After Elsa led all the flight attendants to escort the passengers off, she was immediately exhausted as if she had collapsed.

"If this kind of strong wind comes a few more times, I'm done for," Elsa said with a sigh.

"Thank goodness Mr. Maskelyne landed in Adawood. If it was Frusall, it would have been too far away. They would definitely complain," Darcie said as she sat down beside her and took a deep breath.

Her tone was full of admiration for Franklin.

As they spoke, Franklin walked over in his black captain's uniform baggy suit. He exuded an imposing aura and emitted an air of high coldness and restraint all over his body.

It was now early morning, and bright sunlight shone through the window outside. The planes that were about to take off or land could be clearly seen in the distance.

Darcie quietly glanced at Franklin from the corner of her eye. Not only did he have a noble identity but he was also impeccably handsome; her heart fluttered with excitement as she felt nervous about what to say next. "Mr. Maskelyne... Are you free today?"

Before she could finish speaking, Franklin swept his gaze over her and other attendants before calmly interrupting Darcie. "Everyone did well today; your bonus will double."

Elsa and others couldn't help but cheer when they heard this news. "Mr. Maskelyne is mighty!"

Franklin had already walked out while pulling on his tie inside his captain's uniform baggy suit with long fingers.

A few minutes later, he saw Sylvia, who was waiting for him at the airport gate, wearing a long black trench coat with a white sweater underneath and a pair of sneakers on her feet.

She had slender figure that glowed like snow-white skin under morning sunlight making her look like fairy who came out from another world

Franklin couldn't help but smile slightly as he strode towards Sylvia taking big steps forward then pinched her nose while leaning down to kiss her cheek, saying, "Beauty, are you waiting for me?"

Sylvia pinched him back hard around waistline, saying,"So cheesy!"

Franklin hugged Sylvia's slim waist tightly then said."Let's go home."

They both got into car together Jasper started driving car quickly while Franklin leaned back against seat looking at Sylvia deeply asking."Does your hand still hurt?"

Sylvia put both hands against the man's chest, her watery eyes shining brightly which made Franklin swoon.

"It doesn't hurt anymore," he said.

"Then... let me check?"

In the next second, the man grabbed her small hand and his thin lips covered her soft palm.

After kissing it, he looked up. "It really doesn't hurt anymore."

Sylvia was speechless.

Is this too cheesy?

The man's warm palm embraced her shoulder. "Next month is the Gold Helmet Pilot Knowledge World Competition, and I..."

"Are you participating?" Sylvia looked up at him.

Franklin hooked his lips. "No, I'm a judge."

He casually held her small hand and played with it. "The Gold Helmet Pilot Knowledge Competition has been held 16 times, and our H Rovirsa only won in the one I participated in."

"So you're a champion?" Sylvia immediately understood.

She raised an eyebrow at him as the faint sunlight from outside shone on his three-dimensional profile, making him look deep and charming. "My man is truly the best."

Upon hearing her praise, Franklin lightly lifted his lips and tapped her cheek with distinct knuckles. "This time's competition will be held in Larro."

The car slowly stopped in front of Townyer Villa's single door.

As Sylvia jumped out of the car and looked at this familiar gate she said. "I haven't been back for so long."

"The butler has always had hourly workers to clean it up so we can move in anytime." Franklin hooked his lips again as he took Sylvia's warm dry hand to lead them inside after fingerprint authentication was completed.

The butler was sitting bored on the sofa watching TV when suddenly he heard someone open the door outside which startled him greatly.

He stopped mid-yawn when he saw who walked through that door; still maintaining a wide-open mouth posture with shock flickering across his eyes; He even exaggeratedly rubbed his own eyes to make sure they weren't deceiving him before asking. "Am I seeing things? Missus, are you back?"

Without greeting Franklin first, he stepped over to stand before Sylvia excitedly asking again. "You really came back?"

"Yes ah," smiled Sylvia as she greeted him warmly while taking out an RL 133 pill from her pocket saying. "Here take one for your health."

The butler didn't doubt its medicinal properties either; quickly accepting it while getting emotional enough that tears were almost welling up within their eyes as they exclaimed gratefully saying. "Oh my goodness! Why are you so kind to me?" He then hurried off to get some water before swallowing down the medicine pill.

Franklin picked up his fork and started eating immediately. The soft noodles melted in his mouth while the aroma of food spread throughout his mouth.

The butler also lowered his head to eat while praising her cooking skills between bites. "Missus' cooking is still so good! It's really delicious."

Luckily Sylvia had made enough. After they finished their first bowl each, they went get their second bowls.

But Sylvia didn't have another serving herself after finishing her first bowl.

After eating their fill of noodles, Franklin stood up voluntarily to wash dishes while the butler cleaned off the table.

Sylvia turned around and went upstairs to take a shower with warm water splashing over her body soothingly.

When she came out from taking her shower, she found that Franklin had already fallen asleep.

He must be exhausted from flying overnight last night.

Sylvia looked at her phone for awhile before putting away messages then laid down next to Franklin.

As soon as she laid down though, her phone rang startlingly on vibration mode.

She grabbed it, then walked out of the bedroom, answering quietly, "Hello?"

"Miss Andrews? This is Clare." Clare's familiar voice sounded through Sylvia's phone as she glanced back at their closed door, "What's wrong? Mr. Hipps?"

"My engagement banquet will be next Friday. I especially invite you to attend it."

"Engagement?" Sylvia was surprised, "With..."

"Mollie." Clare's voice contained hints of happiness, "The Hipps family has gone through this disaster together so we want to celebrate some happy news now."

"Great, I'll definitely attend. Congratulations to you both," Sylvia smiled.

"Mr. Maskelyne must also come. The invitation has already been sent out," Clare exchanged pleasantries with Sylvia before hanging up the phone.

As soon as she hung up, Mollie called her, "Miss Andrews... I..."

She hesitated to speak and Sylvia jumped in, "Congratulations! Mr. Hipps just called me a moment ago. I'll definitely be there."
