“I get that you’re an independent woman, and you’re used to living alone. However, I hope you’ll think of 

me if you ever need help. I don’t have to be the first person you think of, but at least remember that I’m an option, okay?” 

Miranda chuckled. “Alright.”

Sam watched as she went up the stairs. He only turned to leave when the light in her room lit up. 

Meanwhile, Ingrid had been resting in the mansion for almost two weeks. Her pregnancy was quite stabilized now. 

She had people waiting on her hand and foot. Since Hansel didn’t return home, no one was around to berate or humiliate her. As a result, Ingrid was living a comfortable life.
