The drone display left everyone in awe. People gazed upward and murmured with astonishment. 

Miranda paused momentarily before walking over to Sam, who looked a bit taken aback. 

“Thank you.” She stopped in front of him and said with a sincere look. “You invited those reporters, right?” 

“Joseph reached out to a few outlets,” he replied. “He probably figured you wouldn’t finish building the lab in time. He wants to stir things up and make a scene in front of the administration. 

“So, I just went along with it to generate more buzz. That way, the fallout will hit harder when this backfires on him.” 

Sam didn’t mention another reason for his actions. He had warned Joseph more than once, but Joseph hadn’t taken him seriously. If that was how Joseph wanted to play it, Sam would just 

ve to make his 

point in a different way. 

Some people only learned the hard way. And if a wake–up call wasn’t loud enough, it meant it needed to be turned up. 

Not far away, Matthew nudged Christine’s shoulder as he clapped. “Are you relieved now? Miranda isn’t the type to be pushed around. When she sets her mind on something–like building a lab–she’ll get it done. I almost had a heart attack when I got the invitation.” 

She nodded approvingly. “She has a mind of her own and knows how to stand up for herself,” she said with a sigh. “Honestly, she’s much stronger than I ever was.” 

Hearing the hint of regret in her voice, he chuckled. “No matter how tough they are, they’re still our students. After all, a good leader doesn’t have weak followers. And we’re no slouches either.” 

Christine rolled her eyes. “I don’t have the nerve to be shameless like you.” 

After the presentation, Miranda asked Christine to name the lab. Madison and Sebastian quickly set up a table with paper, a brush, and ink. 

Christine stood at the table and thought briefly before writing. “Boundless science and endless exploration.” 

With that, she officially named the lab “Infinity Lab.” 

When Joseph took Sophie away, only Joli and Willow stayed behind. 

From the moment Willow arrived, she hadn’t made a single sarcastic comment. Despite the constant snide remarks from Joseph and Sophie, she chose to remain silent. 

She stole a glance at the man beside her. Her voice was tinged with regret and shame. “I never thought Dr. Xander would turn out to be that kind of person.” 

Yes, Hansel was there. He came along as her boyfriend
