In the open gazebo, Paul and Sam were sitting on the ground with Miranda in between them. 

Sam had dozed off, his head drooping down. From Hansel’s angle, it looked like he was resting on Miranda’s shoulder. 

Paul also had his eyes closed, but his posture was more composed than Sam’s. He supported his head with one hand, though his shoulder was pressed against Miranda’s. 

It wasn’t that he was trying to take advantage of her, but to provide support for the sleeping Miranda. 

Even though Paul was asleep, he didn’t dare relax his shoulder and maintained his position. Late in the night, Sam even felt pity for him and offered to switch places, but Paul said, “There’s no need; she’s light.” 

Sam was speechless. This guy knew how to hold a grudge! 

All three of them were fully dressed, and there was no inappropriate physical contact, but the sight of the three of them exuded an inexplicable air of intimacy and romance. 

Although Miranda’s fever had subsided, her face was still slightly flushed. At that moment, she was sleeping peacefully…. 

To a jealous man, even the simplest things could trigger feelings of betrayal. 

In a daze, Hansel felt like a bolt had hit him out of the blue. It took a long time for him to recover his senses. The staff who arrived shortly after, along with a few students who got up early to watch the commotion, were also stunned.

Madison had also burst in right after the door was opened. She started simultaneously with Hansel, but she couldn’t run as fast because of her heavier weight. Even Sebastian, who had started late, managed to 

overtake her. 

At that moment, Madison struggled to push past the curious onlookers. The next second, her eyes widened in shock. This… What on earth was happening? 

But then again, these three were so good–looking. All three of them sleeping together in the picture didn’t seem too offputting. 

Madison realized her thoughts were straying and quickly shook her head. Her worry throughout the night. was channeled into a full–on sprint toward Miranda. 

However, someone was faster than her. 

Hansel rushed up to them with reddened eyes and pulled her from between the two men. He hugged the still–unconscious Miranda in his arms. “Miranda, wake up! Miranda, say something!” 

Sam and Paul weren’t in a deep sleep. They woke up as soon as they heard Hansel’s footsteps approaching. Yet, they couldn’t stop him in time. 

Hansel’s actions were rough as he pulled Miranda away, barely concealing his possessiveness over her.

Sam got up and grabbed Miranda from him. He cursed “Are you crazy? Can’t you see how weak she is? She was caught in the rain and injured last night. We barely managed to lower her temperature. If you want to go crazy, go elsewhere!” 

Hansel fixed a cold glare on him as he growled, “What exactly happened last night? Why were the three of you sleeping together?” 

They were clearly only sitting together in a heap, but Hänsel twisted it into something distasteful. 

Sam burst into laughter. “Hansel, what are you doing right now? Didn’t you claim you had moved on and got a new girlfriend? You even said that you have let go of the past. Your behavior right now doesn’t look like you’ve moved on.” 

Hansel ignored his remark. “Hand her over to me.” 

“Oh, can’t keep up the act anymore? I thought you had so much patience. Turns out all that talk about letting go and starting over was just your tactic to win Miranda back. Does your new girlfriend know about what you’re doing?” Sam smirked and glanced behind Hansel. 

Hansel turned around stiffly and saw Willow giving him a reluctant smile that looked more painful than crying. 

Paul ignored the childish bickering between the two men. Upon waking up, he immediately called for an ambulance. Thankfully, the park management was prepared and had called the hospital in advance. 

Emery had watched the whole dramatic scene unfold and thought, “Young people these days are really something!” 

He came back to his senses and hurried forward. “She’s already so weak. What are you guys arguing about? Get her out of here quickly. The ambulance is almost here!”
