“I’ve heard of the name Miranda Sutton… but I didn’t know that’s what she looked like.” 

The staff continued, “Still, she’s not that impressive. Sure, she’s got fancy publications, but she couldn’t even handle a simple college competition. She admitted herself that her team didn’t win a single award this time.” 

The colleague shot her a chilly look. “Do you think she came to the faculty office just for the fun of it?” 

“Why else would she come?” 

“She said it was to retrieve the project report. Now think deeper. Why would she need it? She’s likely trying to figure out why they didn’t win.” 

“I mean, so what if they didn’t win? Why make such a fuss? Maybe she just can’t take a loss.” 

“That’s one possibility. But there’s a much bigger one.” 

“What’s that?” 

“She suspects the report was tampered with and wants to investigate thoroughly!” 

“Pfft! Who would waste their time messing with her report? That’s ridiculous!” 

“Exactly. Who would tamper with her report? If the issue wasn’t during the judging 

If I were you, I wouldn’t be laughing process, then it must’ve occurred during submissio right now.” 

Because if Miranda uncovered that the problem happened during submission, the faculty would be held accountable. And if she pursued the matter further, anyone who had handled the report could be implicated.
