A man with brown hair stood outside, holding a baseball bat. His chin was raised arrogantly as he yelled toward the house, “Are you all deal? Don’t you understand what I’m saying? Get the hell out here right now!” 

Madison exploded immediately and rushed outside with her phone. 

Miranda and Sebastian tried to stop her, but they were too late. They could only follow behind her as they ran out. 

“What do you want?” Madison stood at the entrance with her hands on her hips. She stared down at the brown–haired man, Kenny Sneider 

Kenny raised an eyebrow. “Oh, where did this fat cow come from? What’s the matter? Are you going to stand up for the Cliffords?” 

His words directly hit on Madison’s sore spot. 

“And you? You’re so scrawny that you look like a scarecrow! People who know you might say you’re malnourished, but others who don’t will probably think you’re on drugs!” she retorted. 

Kenny’s expression darkened. 

At that moment, a blonde–haired man stepped forward. “The hell you’re saying, you mad cow? You wanna meet your maker?” 

Although Madison couldn’t understand his thick accent, she could guess it wasn’t anything good. 

The two men had similar features and build. In fact, Madison had already been very generous with her insults. These two men were skinny as scarecrows, with dark circles under their eyes and purplish lips. 

Their prominent cheekbones, cloudy gazes, and hostile expressions made for an unpleasant sight. 

“Where’s Ollie the Cripple? He’ll sign the land transfer contract right now if he knows what’s good for him, otherwise…” Kenny sneered, his tone menacing. 

“Or else what? Do you think you can force people to sell their land?” Madison demanded. 

Kenny shot her a cold look and turned to the blonde man with a smirk. “It seems this fat cow still doesn’t know who she is dealing with. Shall we show her?” 

The blonde–haired man, Shawn Sneider, raised his bat. “Sure thing, I’ll handle her.” 

“I dare you to do that!” Madison straightened her back. Instead of dodging, she stood firm and declared, “This is a lawful society. If you lay a hand on me, I’ll call the police!”

“Call the police?” Kenny burst into mocking laughter, as if he had heard a joke. “Go ahead and call them! Let’s see if the police can do anything to us!” 

Madison was surprised and taken aback by his brazenness. 

The next second, she raised her phone up and started recording. “Well, it’s alright. If the law can’t teach you a lesson, public opinion from the netizens will. 

“It has been over a century since the fall of the Lysandrian Era, and yet local bullies like you still exist. Let’s film this and show your ugly faces to the entire country…” 

Kenny and Shawn’s expressions darkened simultaneously. One lunged forward and grabbed her phone, while the other reached for her arm. 

Seeing that, Sebastian quickly yanked Madison behind him while Miranda grabbed a broom from the corner and swung it at the two men. 

Taking advantage of the chaos, the three of them retreated to put some distance between themselves and the two men. 

At that moment, Kenny and Shawn finally noticed the other two. 

Sebastian raised his voice sternly, “What do you think you’re doing?” 

Kenny sneered, “Can’t you see? This fat cow’s filming us without permission! Does she even know who this village belongs to?” 

“Oh?” Miranda retorted, “Who does this village belong to?” 

“It belongs to the Sneiders, of course!” 

“This is the first time I’ve heard of a village being someone’s private property.”
