Miranda was the picture of youthful vitality and demure grace, and Paul was momentarily captivated by her. 

“Dr. Jefferson, Dr Jefferson!” she called out to him. 

Startled, he snapped back to reality. “I’m sorry. What did you just say?” 

Miranda couldn’t hold back her laughter, and Paul looked even more confused. “I was asking if I had something on my face,” she said. “Why were you staring at me?” 

Paul paused for two seconds before nodding with a serious expression. “Yes, there’s something on your face.” 

“Huh?” Miranda was taken aback. “What is it?! 

“Your spellbinding beauty.“” 

After two seconds of dead silence, Miranda burst out laughing again. “Dr. Jefferson, I didn’t know you knew how to crack jokes like that!” 

Paul cleared his throat. 

“It isn’t a joke but the truth,” he thought inwardly. 

They continued walking forward. 

“Are you cold?” Paul asked. “You don’t have many layers on.” 

Miranda replied, “No, I have a shawl.” 

“That tiny piece? Is it even effective?” 

“Yes, it blocks the wind just fine!” 

“Well, just let me know if you’re cold. I’ll take off my jacket for you.” 

“Alright.” 

Miranda walked to the spot in front of the Oriental Tower. Two groups of tourists had already taken photos at the same spot, and she turned to look at Paul. 

He immediately understood. “Do you want me to take a picture for you?” 

Miranda’s eyes lit up, and she nodded eagerly. No woman could resist taking a picture at a popular scenic spot, and she was no exception. 

Paul took out his phone. “Are you ready?” 

Miranda nodded.

In the frame, Miranda stood casually by the railing. In the background were the brilliant lights of the Oriental Tower and the vibrant city skyline. Up close, her hair was whipped up by the wind. She reached out to tuck the hair strands behind her ear, while her other hand clutched her shawl. 

At that momenty/she seemed to have just remembered she had to look at the camera. Her smiling gaze met the lens as the photo was captured. 

Paul took several shots from various angles, distances, and focal points. He handed her his phone when Miranda finally walked toward him. “Take a look and let me know if they’re okay.” 

Miranda took the phone without much expectation. After all, straight men and photography

However, Miranda was shocked when she saw the photos. “Dr. Jefferson, did you study photography? These are amazing!” 

He had even managed to blur out the background and add filter effects to produce a stunning photo. Miranda’s eyes sparkled with amazement. Every single photo was amazing! 

“Send them all to me…” 

She wanted them in her phone immediately, right then and there! 

Paul’s smile was affectionate. “Alright.” He even knew how to send high–resolution images. 

Miranda could’ve cried. The pictures were so gorgeous that she couldn’t resist posting nine of them on her social media: The caption was, “The glittering lights of the city, shining bright at night…” 

Madison was the first to like her post and commented, “Miranda, you look so gorgeous! I can’t help but swoon at your beauty!” 

Calvin’s comment was below hers. “Everyone, let’s sing together! You’re beautiful… You’re beautiful, it’s true…” 

Christine typed, “Did you go out? Don’t worry about me and enjoy yourself. It’s fine even if you come back later!”
