As soon as Sebastian’s words fell into the ward, Audrey and Madison were both taken aback, while Mason’s cousins exchanged bewildered glances. 

“F–Fiancé?” Audrey stammered, her lips trembling. 

Sebastian’s smile grew wider. He was the calmest person in the room at that 

moment. 

He explained, “Yes, I’m the youngest child of the Landon family, Sebastian Landon. Back then, Mr. Hill and my father agreed on an arranged marriage between me and Madison. Later, both families dismissed it as a joke, and I never took it seriously… 

“But after Madison came to Jandersville for her graduate studies, we ended up in the same class and under the same supervisor. We gradually developed feelings for each other through our interactions and eventually got together. I believe that this is fate 

a sign that we were already meant to be family. 

“Madison has already met my parents and grandfather. The purpose of our trip here is to visit you and Mr. Hill on behalf of my father. He deeply regrets being unable to come in person and instructed me to apologize on his behalf. My father’s been incredibly busy…”

Sebastian is talking to you. You know Mr. Landon from Jandersville, right? 

“Our families are living so far apart, and Mr. Landon has risen through the ranks so quickly in recent years. He couldn’t come to visit as frequently as before, so that’s
