Chapter 204 

“I–Is it really that serious?” The voice that broke the silence was none other than Sofia’s, her face drained of color. 

She was the same Sofia who had just openly called Xander a gigolo, looking at him with utter disdain. 

Logan shot Sofia a sharp look, exhaling in frustration. “I’m going to pay. If you want to keep eating, feel free. I’m leaving now.” 

His words served as an unspoken answer to Sofia’s earlier question. 

Sofia’s face turned even paler as she watched Logan walk off to pay, her thoughts momentarily blank. 

After a few seconds, she quickly called Lillian. 

Lillian! You lied to me! Isabel’s husband is not a gigolo!” 

“Huh?” Lillian was momentarily taken aback. “Not a gigolo? That’s impossible. Even if he’s not, he’s still some sugar baby Isabel hired. You know how much she loves Kaleb; there’s no way she’d like someone else. From what I see, Isabel probably hired this guy just to make Kaleb jealous.” 

Lillian’s explanation seemed logical, and if Logan hadn’t spoken those words earlier, Sofia might have almost believed her. 

Sofia quickly recounted what had happened earlier to Lillian. 

After listening, Lillian scoffed. “You’re all so naive! Isabel has everyone fooled. With her reputation, how many men would want to be with her? And that guy’s so good–looking; he’s clearly just playing along with Isabel for the fun of it.” 

“You don’t know that Logan’s an honest guy. I might not believe Isabel, but Logan-” Sofia was interrupted before she could finish her sentence. 

Have you ever considered that Isabel and Logan might have planned this together?” 

Sofia paused, taken aback by Lillian’s suggestion. It made sense. 

They all knew Logan had feelings for Isabel. It was possible he’d gone along with her to please her and help stage the whole act. 

Wow! Isabel is seriously shameless. If I hadn’t called you, I would’ve really believed it–that Bennett guy is 

some big shot!” 

“Big shot? Please. If he were really some big shot, my dad would’ve seen through him in a second,” Lillian replied with complete confidence. 

“That’s true.” 

Wait a minute! 

Sofia suddenly remembered that Isabel, Xander, and the rest of the group had all left. She needed to go after them and tell them that Xander was just a gigolo! 

Even if he wasn’t, he was still a man Isabel had hired for her own image. Plus, Isabel had likely teamed up with Logan to stage this whole act. 

After Isabel and Xander left, they stepped outside and realized it had started snowing. A light dusting of snow had already covered the ground in a thin, silvery layer. 

“It’s really snowing!” Isabel rushed into the snow, extending her hand and spinning around. 

She had always loved snow since childhood, drawn to it by an inexplicable fondness and emotion.
