Chapter 241 Tailing Isabel to the Bennett Villa
The following day, Isabel returned to I.Z. Corporation, but when she left, she realized she was being tailed.

Checking her surroundings through the car's side mirror, Isabel noticed two individuals trailing her movements.

Both were wearing face coverings, blending in as ordinary passersby walking a short distance behind.

Initially, Isabel assumed they had bad intentions and might mean harm. However, she soon realized their movements were too precise and deliberate for amateurs—most people wouldn't have even noticed their presence.

This sparked her curiosity. Who were they, and what were their plans for me?

As Isabel strolled, her gaze fell on a traffic officer managing cars at a nearby crossroad. A sly grin crept across her face, her eyes revealing a trace of mischief.

"What is she doing?" asked one of the Zimmermans' bodyguards, who had been tailing her, as he watched Isabel approach the officer. "Could she have figured us out and plans to report us?"

"That's impossible. Our tracking methods are flawless. She's probably just lost and asking for directions," the other bodyguard replied confidently.

"That seems reasonable."

The two bodyguards remained certain of their abilities to stay undetected.

But then ...

The traffic officer unexpectedly charged in their direction.

Reacting to the sudden threat, the Zimmermans' two bodyguards instinctively stepped back a couple of paces.

Their reflexive retreat only validated Isabel's suspicions. These individuals clearly had suspicious intentions!

"Arrest them!"

The two bodyguards, both towering and well-built with excellent fighting abilities, were caught off guard and rendered helpless by the traffic officer's swift actions. In the end, they were subdued and restrained from behind.

"What's happening? Why are you detaining us?" one of them protested, trying to sound innocent.

At this point, the two bodyguards could only play dumb and feign ignorance.

"Don't act clueless. The girl informed us that you've been trailing her," the officer responded firmly.

Though this wasn't technically within the traffic police's scope of duties, they couldn't just ignore a distressed girl seeking help.

"We weren't following her! We don't even know who she is!" the second bodyguard argued, sticking to their denial.

"Not following her? Then why did you both step back earlier?" the traffic officer asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We ... we didn't run!" one of the bodyguards stammered, trying to defend himself.

"Exactly! We didn't run!"

The officer retorted, "Don't try to talk your way out of this! We saw everything clearly. Take them to the station!"

Soon, Colin was notified about the situation.

"What a bunch of incompetent fools! They're supposed to be experts in tracking, yet they can't even follow someone without getting caught. Is this the so-called professionalism?!" Colin shouted, enraged.

Amelia placed a hand on Colin's back, trying to soothe his anger. "Calm down, Honey. I've also arranged for a few people to keep an eye on Isabel, just to make sure everything goes smoothly. Don't worry, we'll catch her today for sure."

She was even more determined than Colin to seize control of I.Z. Corporation. Owning it would significantly boost her standing in society and allow her to spend money freely in the future. As a result, she invested even more time and resources into bringing down Isabel.

"That's perfect!" Colin smiled and pulled her into a tight embrace. "Marrying a woman like you is truly the best thing that ever happened to me."

Amelia rested against his chest, her expression filled with calculation and hidden motives.

Isabel slowed her pace again, wondering if there was a person still following her.

It seemed like an endless cycle, one wave after another.

She decided to ignore it, not willing to waste her energy. After all, she would deal with them when the right times arrived.

After wandering for a bit longer, Isabel hailed a taxi and headed toward the Bennett villa.
