Gillian thanked her and then took the elevator upstairs.

I was in the middle of a rehearsal for an upcoming commercial when the door to the practic room suddenly opened. 

Gillian stood in the doorway, watching me with a curious smile. 

She clapped her hands and praised, “Not bad. You really live up to your reputation as the popular singer.” 

I fought to control my irritation, giving her a cold look. “What are you doing here?”
